Kesar and Gulaal's scene was very brief today. But it was something very beautiful. Gulaal sits near the "mandir" lost in thoughts. The accusations of "dhka" to Vasant is weighing her down.
Kesar sees her and senses her state of mind. To get her out of that state, he does not talk about the topic. Instead he chooses to talk random things. He chides her saying her puja never ends. He claims she should have known that he would be hungry by this time and asks her to accompany him. When he attempts to lighten the environment by pointing out that he may faint in hunger, Gulaal turns around to look at him.
They directly look into each other's tearful eyes. His eyes reflected his feeble attempt to persuade her to forget the past and get along and to act normal. His eyes reflected the pain he underwent seeing her in pain. His eyes refelcted his request to her to put aside her sorrow and move on. At that point Gulaal's eyes acknowledged his attempt. She knew he was trying hard to help her get out of the pain. He knew she understood his intention. Without saying a word or discussing the issue, they understood each other which is why she did not resist his support to get up from that place and simply obeyed him.
