Hey everyone, I totally forgot I signed up for the DOTW and just remembered. First of all Karvinath will be missed 😭, he was a good villain in this depiction. 😛

Now coming back to the topic for the week, as per the heading we are not here to discuss the age old debate about the chicken or the egg. But rather we are here to ascertain whether who was truly the king. If anyone has read Macbeth by William Shakespeare, we know it was because of the prophecy by the witches, Macbeth took the throne from the King. In this, we have Chanakya who made a normal boy into a magnificent king as well as making India as one. He was perhaps the founder of modern day India by incorporating, administration, politics, social, economics, philosophy, military and many more things that defines a nation.
Right now let's discuss could Chandragupta be the king her is without Chanakya, could the Akhand Bharat ever existed? They say it takes two hands to clap, which is the case to me between Chanakya and Chandragupta. Chanakya probably couldn't have achieves his dreams without Chandrapgupta and vice versa. They say great leaders are born, never made and king makers will always be an instrumental tool in making them.

So who is the chicken and who is the egg and which came first? In other words who is the real king?

thanx 4 d wonderful DOTW !! u hv raised a gud qstn . well to b honest, both CGM & C complements each other, dey r incomplete widout each other, but to b more specific, i think it's Chanakya who's d real king of d land. 😊who never sat on d throne himself but ruled thru CGM.

@polly It's true they do compliment each other well, like two peas in a pod, one cannot be without the other. Like you said some people rule through others and they are the real King.

one chanakya can make thousand cgms
but thousand cgms cant make a single chanakya

i read this sumwhere that ..chanakya said once himself, " kabhi bhavishya mein yadi mujhe laga ki tumhara shasan mein bhi anachaar phail raha hai..toh main phir se pratigya lekar ek naya cg khada kar dunga tumhare saamne tumhare viruddh ".

chanakya cant b compared..he is the best ⭐️

@ yes Historylover, Chanakya is like a rare diamond, if we had a leader like him in present time, the world would be a better place, I reckon.

Speaking of kingmakers I am not sure if anyone is aware of the BBC show called Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister. I watched the series on reruns when I was in my teens. It's probably one of the best political satire ever written, I would say. In that Sir Humphrey was the Chanakya to MP Jim Hacker. It quite brilliant and quite a true depiction of how great leaders have great thinkers and makers behind them.

It can be a matter of huge debate that who comes first, egg or hen?

But apart from it both r important from my point of view, Both Cgm and Chankya r need of tym n both r made according for each other's perspective.

Bcoz Acharya trying to find many persons with basic necessary qualities of a king but only find those in cgm.Thus Cgm was a pearl closed in the shell, Same while, Acharya opened that shell n coated him with his incredible brain n Guinness.

I agree you have put it well, CGM was the pearl that was polished by Chanakya 😊
