Ok...something i've noticed over the past month on this forum - when there's an Arnav-Khushi scene, the episode is FANTASTIC, MINDBLOWNG, BEST EVER! Once the focus gets shifted for an episode or two, i see words such as EPISODE SUCKED, ITS NOT GOING ANYWHERE, BAD EPISODE!

Um...i don't want to rain in on anyone's ArHi parade because i adore them as well but one couple and their love story does not make a show. Shyam NEEDED to be shown today - what did everyone expect - that they'll reveal his identity in one episode and then in the next episode, Arnav is day-dreaming about Khushi again? That they'll romance even though they're in their own houses? That they'll think about each other 24/7 even when other things need to be addressed such as Anjali's happiness at finally seeing her husband again? 😕 That's horrible script-writing and story development! That's like Arnav saying, oh Anjali i'll do anything for your happiness but now that Shyam is here, who're you again? I'm thinking of Khushi and Khushi only...that's not how it works lol - he needs to be shown thinking of and interacting with his family WITHOUT thinking of khushi all the time

The HAD to show Shyam-Anjali today, no matter how boring it may have been to some. They needed to show what Shyam's relationship is with the whole Raizada family, his repertoire with each member - THAT gives an impact on how low he's fallen with all his fantasizing of Khushi. They need to show that sense of familiarity between him and Anjali, they need to show that having a husband-wife relationship. They can't just show him come, break her fast and that's that! They have to build his character's place in the Raizada family too. How Arnav looks up to him, how Anjali trusts him with her life - you have to SEE that to believe it, to internalize it.

I'm not a Shyam fan, although i like the actor, so i'm not defending him or asking him to get more screen space but for the sake of the story, he needs to be there. As well, this show isn't about how many times Arnav can catch Khushi, there is a story - and Shyam is an integral part to it - HE is going to end up being a catalyst and a villain to ArHi's story so we need to know more about him, the REAL him before we see how he plays a role in their lives.

AND lastly, as for the good or bad episode - last week we were given a number of Arnav-Khushi scenes - that's not what makes a good episode - its based on story, chemistry, logical events etc...

Other than that, have a good one! 😃 Not to start an argument, just to put things into perspective - i like a good discussion! 😃

I didn't find today's episode a drag at all. We needed to be shown what a sick man Shyam actually is and we were shown that today.
I'm ArHi all the way but they can't be shown all the time 'coz SaRun are after all human beings! And I'm prepared that the story will focus a bit on Shyam playing around with both the women for a while. As long as it is not dragged too much, I'm ok but the day it crosses all limits of rubber band elasticity, I shall have to express my displeasure (:

Haha well said!
The day they overstep the boundary and it actually becomes draggy, i will be amongst the first to express annoyance! 😆 But it's been what...one episode since Shyam was revealed? They have to show him in the Raizada house, its mandatory, so i'm not sure what's dragging about that at all

Right , there should a desert of Arhi scenes before we get our next dose.
Anjali and Shyam are important to the story and should have some screen space too.

Yup! Totally agree!!.That is always the case isn't it?.😆.One person or two people dont make a show, never have.Shyam's character is crucial to the storyline of the leads.I mean every show needs a class villian and the fact that people hate him so much only goes to show that he is doing a great job..the actor that is.

Too much or too little of anything is bad anyways.Balance needs to be struck so the storyline as a whole develops.

Shyam is needed so as to show what direction the story of the leads is going to take.Or else it will be the same old same old.Dream sequences,staring,glaring,falling,dances..😆.

Just imagine Arnav cumin to know that Shyam is two-timing his sis with a girl who he is starting to get attracted to?.Although not Khushi's fault he may indirectly hold her responsible for her sisters unhappiness.I dont know whats going to happen, lets see. There will be fireworks for sure.

BTW Shaz I dont think you remember me but we have met before in the DMG,Geet and RBO forums.😆.
Nice post btw.

I agree.. Well, there will be episodes like these.. Coz the show does emphasize on Arnav n Khushi but also there are many characters apart form them and Anjali plays such an important role here.. So its really important that they show whats happening in her life as well and Teej day was the one.. She has been waiting for her husband and its actually ok if they show an episode which focuses on the relation she shares with her husband and her husband shares with her family.. And as far as Arnav Khushi scenes go, Distance makes the heart fonder.. 😍

Exactly,I actually liked today's episode,quite interesting!
I wanted to know, how in this world could Shyam fool around without anybody noticing it!Why in this world does Arnav respect Shyam so much?We needed answers to those questions,it's not like Arhi are the only characters because they are the leads!Other characters have an important role to play!Majority in this forum might not agree with me , other people who watch the serial are not teenagers, many of them might not be interested in watching random eyelocks,or falling over each other scenes!
And the way Abhaas enacted those scenes was so convincing!Really evil, made me hate Shyam!

Oh goddd... The one thing that sucks about this forum is the constant whining. I swear. One epi is like " the BEST, the awesomesttt" and the next is "BORRINGGG, CRAPP"
Like seriously? Do people think this show can survive just on ArHi romantic moments? If there are people who think that way, then honestly, they should stop watching. Cause this isn't a star one drama only focusing on HAWT scenes where the leads have no story, just have random eyelocks and hot moments. This is SP, where it's a FAMILY drama.

If ArHi have to have a story, then people like Shyam NEED to be shown, cause only then we can have a story for ArHi. I have no complaints whatsoever with the epi. In fact, I LIKED it, cause they showed us what kind of relationship exists between Shyam and his family. I mean I don't get what people find boring and stuff! Isn't this all NECESSARY to be shown? How the hell will people watch Arnav's back story then, if they cannot bear to see anything related to his family? How the hell do you expect to see Arnav's reaction to Shyam's truth, when you can't bear to see what kind of equation they both share? It's stupid to expect that Shyam will just come, and his truth will be revealed and all's well. Blah.

Seriously those who watch just thinking it's about random romance, should quit watching now. Sorry for venting so much Shazia, but it's seriously pissing me off now, the way things are going here.

Edit: Yeah, I agree with Lori, Shyam reallyy looked evil today, great acting by Abhaas. Really convincing as a negative character!
