how did Shyam deceive ASR?

Hey everyone.
This question has been haunting my mind every since i came to know that Shyam is Anjali's husband, that how was it that Shyam is able to fool ASR to such an extent?

ASR has always been a strong judge of character, never trusted anyone easily and wud always maintain a distance with ppl, due to whatever happened in the past. Sometime earlier in the show, ASR's family was talking abt how he listens to his jiju. Anjali is someone who blindly trusts everyone, always thinks that ppl are good, so its not a surprise that she trusts Shyam so much, esp since she considers herself as a handicapped person, however what i don't get, is how Shyam was able to deceive ASR to such an extent? He is not only a womanizer but is also living with another girls family in the SAME city! Why, or rather how is it that Arnav trusts him so much, and believes it when he says that hes traveling coz of work? And its not just ASR, but the rest of the family too, they seem to be simply blindly trusting Shyam..and its because of this trust that Shyam is able to be in the same city, because he knows that the family trusts him too much to ever think that hes lying.

There are only 2 possibilities i can think of, due to which ASR trusts and respects him so much, either Shyam is very good actor or ASR is just happy seeing his sister happy, and since Shyam is the cause of the happiness he trusts him...esp coz he married her even though her 1st marriage was broken. None of which, to me seem very strong though.

Whatever the reason, i hope its a justifiable one, and something valid, because otherwise it just wudn't make sense. ASR has a cold heart, he is ruthless and arrogant and for him to trust someone says a lot abt the person...and when someone like him respects and trusts someone, they REALLY do trust that person. So i'm surprised to say the least, that he actually respects his jiju, you cud see that in his eyes though, in friday's epi when Shyam came to break Anjali's fast, you cud see that he was happy to see him, and happier to see his sister so happy. And i'm now hoping that the CVs do give justice to this new track, and show exactly why is it that ASR trusts Shyam so much.

This shyam has gotten all the raizadas spun around his grubby little fingers! It's like they don't see anything ahead of him and anything behind him. He needs a good kick in the butt for deceiving such a sweet wife and caring jiju.

Very valid point ...infact I have been wondering the same..now the first question to be asked is does Shyam work for the same family business i.e AR ..then I really cannot understand how he can say that he is on tour and be in Delhi all his while ... he has told the guptas that he is a lawyer ..now whether that is true or a fib god Knows ...

I dont think that ASR will have a very hard time finding out Shyam's double dealing if he gets even one hint or inkling of doubt. I remember when he went to leave an unconscious Khushi at her house, he stood at the door and heard Payal talk about calling Shyam-ji and letting Shyam-ji know Khushi was home safe-he had a very surprised look on his face, from hearing the name Shyam-just like you or I would be if we coincidentally heard a family member's name spoken somewhere, even if its a common name, you still note it in your head.

Now, if there is any chance of him finding out that Shyam has been living in Delhi, from any hint at all, I'm sure that weird coincidence will occur to him, and a little bit of investigation would show the truth almost right away. He doesnt even need to ask Khushi Payal or Bua-ji-they live in a small community even within Delhi, a mohallah.

Shyam hasnt been very discreet in Bua-ji's house, he has been coming and going very openly, he is obviously hopping around on a crutch, which is noticable, not to mention he even grabbed some poor doctor out by his collar and dragged him to Khushi's house, showing how completely focussed he is on Khushi, without caring about how it looks to everyone.

The issue will be, how can he deal with this personal betrayal as well-he is so closed off from everyone. Here he has trusted one person, that too,given to Shyam the most important woman in his life, his sister, and this ass has completely deceived BOTH of them-the kid brother and his helpless sister-he will have total flashbacks to what he went through his first abandonment with his parents.

He must have done some real good acting to have gotten a man like ASR think so highly of him. You gotta give that to him.

Just can't wait till the day ASR finds out about him and he gets a good ol' thrashing!

well, that day is going to be a LONG time away, coz before he finds out...there will somehow be a misunderstanding b/w Khushi and Arnav and he will feel that shes trying to steal Shyam from Anjali, coz he trusts Shyam, and will not believe that hes capable of cheating on Anjali. However, what my question is HOW hes managed to do that...i mean its not just ASR's family, but HE too respects and trusts him...and thats saying something. Hopefully the CVs show all that to us.

someone like ASR will have huge resources that he can smoke out this snake very easily and catch him red handed 😡.. the only reason he is saved is , the whole family and esp ASR trust him implicitly ..no one questions his movements or what he says 😕??? it will be good to know why ...varna aaj kal pvt detectives 20,000 INR mein milte hai and the phone companies can easilly tell you the exact location of a phone ...😉

also he has left clues ..if someone thinks ..for eg he got khushi the appt letter for the job at inventory ...after all he would have spoken to someone ..uska koi to record hoga ...anyways I guess I am getting too rational for an Indian soap 😆

If i'm not mistaken, he doesn't work for the same company...it wud hav been almost impossible for him to stay hidden in the same city if that was the case, esp coz everyone thinks hes on tour. As for the app letter, it all got messed up when Khushi lost it, so that doesn't really count. And anyways..i doubt he got the job for her at the inventory, she became La's assistant coz she herself didn't know for which job she was here, and without the app letter, no one else wud know either.
yep, i want to know how has he been able to wrap the entire family along with ASR around his finger, so much so that they easily believe him when he says hes on tour. Thats something i'm looking forward too, hope the CVs dont disappoint.

will not come between and if you are in love you wont make work as reason 😳

I also think that at least they should move the pace faster and make Shyams intention clear,
Shyam married Anjali in not normal situation understood but why is he behind kushi 😒

yeah, its not going to be difficult for ASR to uncover the truth, that is if he even believes it, however what my question is that how was Shyam able to make ASR trust him so much, how hes able to roam around in the same city without suspicion from the family. That is what i'm curious abt.

@bold- yep, this is going to be one hard blow for him, that one person he actually respected and trusted deceived him and his sister so much, my guess is that he'll shut himself from the world even more, be more mean and ruthless, and lose that whatever little belief in god and love that he has.

well, one reason i think ASR respects Shyam so much is because hes so involved and serious abt his "work", and inspite of that...he keeps sending gifts for Anjali, so well he wudn't really think that Shyam is upto something else. Although i don't know HOW Shyams managed to create such a god-like image of him. and Shyam's a womanizer, he'll be behind any women.
