Monday 1/8/11 Archives ' Copy

Santhosh wicket um out Aagi vittathu !!!!! Santhosh apologizes to Palli and Ore gushi. Palli goes to make coffee and thatha grabs the opportunity to show a flashback of RR's life uh huh. Now Santhosh KNOWS that his dad is a Thyagi ..habbbaaa. The brothers decide to descend on darling dad. Sundu gets to see the duo first and shows all his well brushed teeth – happy that his friend's warring sons have become chums. The sons go to dad, tell him that it is high time he vacated the MD's chair – Of course it is Santhosh who says that and wants VVK to do some work , catch VVK offering any such useful idea !! VVK is scared – says that it is RR who will be the MD always and the brothers can start from the scratch. Teeth galore….. Gopi also joins.

Biwis phone conversation. Biwi No 1 gets to know that Santhosh apologized to Biwi No 2 from Biwi No 2. Biwi No 2 being "smarter " than Biwi No 1 suggests that Santhosh could be in love "athaan apdi confused aa thappu panni yirukkan !!" Anyways..Biwi No 1 invites Biwi No 2 " now that Santhosh has apologized, come home, ok?" Santhosh kku next apology center is AAK and Ganesh. Vote of apology mudinjathum, the couple ask Santhosh to educate Nivedha and Manju " unga appa vOda thyagam avangalukkum puriyanum " Santhosh is slightly skeptical but agrees to talk to them. AAR asks all the youngsters to come for a get together on Sunday "VVK, bring Shree also. Only because of her we all got educated on RR's two timing. " VVK agrees.

Finally santhosh meets his friend whose dad met with an accident. Thanks him for opening his eyes and accept VVK. Asks him about talking to Nivedha and Manju. Aaga innikki poora, Roja saw only "apology session" from Santhosh !!!!!

I will come back later with a detailed update (hahaha!), but all that happened today is that Santhosh has told his sisters, Kamesh overheard it all, and VVK and family (minus Palli) are so happy about the upcoming lunch on Sunday, and Palli overhears the last part, repeats over and over again about how lucky she is to have such a great hubby, the "something special"!

I have been enjoying myself today, reading the first Harry Potter book (I ordered the entire set and it arrived today), so I guess it is time for penance!

Update for Tues, Aug 2, 2011:

Anu is sitting, all dressed up, and Santhosh comes home, he sits in front of his mother with a smile and asks if she was waiting for him (what happened to the ultimatum she gave RR to come home daily at 9 p.m - how did that man get out of that? Doesn't she have the sense to insist that if she can get decked up, her hubby can also come home? That would have been my line, anyway, if I had dressed up like that and hubby didn't turn up - he probably wouldn't have lived to see another sunrise, either!) Santhosh explains that he had gone and apologized to Palli aunty, and Anu says she knows. He goes inside to his room.

Nivedha and Manju are pillow fighting, Santhosh takes them outside to the garden, where it is private (how's that?) and Kamesh can listen from behind the bushes, and he tells them about his father's second wife, palli, and how they are all going to Rukku's house on Sunday. Manju and Nivedha pledge their support for their noble father, who has done so much for them, and Kamesh is listening to all this (just don't drag this story for another year while Kamesh goes around becoming the new Gopi, blackmailing RR while we are getting sicker and sicker by the week!).

VVK, Priya and his thatha are talking about the forthcoming lunch on Sunday, and will Palli ever agree to bringing the two families together, knowing how she is about everything being "something special". RR comes in, and joins them, he is so happy about Sunday lunch, and Palli enters the room. Luckily, she has not heard everything, just the part about RR being something special, and she says that is the case, and brags to her father about how her choice is always the best, or something to that effect.

RR and Sundu - RR is all smiles and tells Sundu about his sunday lunch with all his children (from all his wives - yuck! It gives me a nasty taste, thinking of his smile when saying this) and asks Sundu to make sure they have no engagements on that day (adhennapa appidi oru business, Sunday kooda meetings?) Just then, somebody calls up and says that he wants RR and Sundu to meet with his friend about some deal, and it has to be on sunday. Sundu tries to change the date, but the client is firm that it has to be on Sunday, so Sundu is forced to agree.

Wednesday - 3rd August 2011 Episode - 329

Thursday ...PLEASE I hope this serial ends this month- people, just get all the apologies over with.

fri - I have nothing to say about this serial, so I will watch on my days, do the update and then try to forget that these same people made a good one like Tirupaavai, which enticed me to watch this one.

@Cool, you may get what you wished for on Monday, unless these producers do some drrraggginggg!

Update for Friday, Aug 5, 2011:

Manju and Nivedha teasing Santhosh about his earlier drinking habits, he tells them he started drinking to forget the pain when he discovered his father's secret (ippadiyum oru explanation!). Kamesh comes in, tells them he knows the secret. They want to know how he knows this, he tells them how they were talking without checking their surroundings and so he overheard. He assures them that he didn't tell Anu. Rukku calls to tell Anu about kamesh's marriage getting fixed. Anu tells Kamesh that he must be responsible from now on, RR comes in, hears the news, but he is not happy, says that Kamesh is not responsible enough. Anu tells him that Kamesh has become responsible, promptly RR agrees with her.

Kamesh gets a call from Vanitha (the girl he is going to marry). She wants to meet him somewhere, he hesitates because he is supposed to be going to his Akka's house, she also wants to go there, he does some olarification and finally agrees.

Paati and Meenakshi - Paati tells Meenakshi that she was so happy that Anu came to their family, but their happiness was shattered by that accident. Meenakshi says that since Anu didn't return for six months, RR got married (when did two months become six months? Did somebody from Abinaya read our comments and decide to make RR look like a better person?), paati says that it is all because of Viswanathan and Sivagami, RR didn't listen to her but listened to those two. Paati wants to know why the truth was hidden from Palli (good question, Paati! Can RR answer this?) Meenakshi says he is keeping both wives happy, so why get angry? Paati wants to know if a man can marry a hundred wives and keep them all happy, is it okay? Will Meenakshi be okay if it was her husband who did this? Paati doesn't blame her grandchildren, it is not their fault. She says that even if the whole world became united, never mind Anu and Palli, she will never reconcile with RR (way to go, Paati! You are the only one with any morals in this show)

Sivagami is decking up, so that they can leave before Palli returns from the temple. Priya is teasing her, finally they all come to the door, and look around like they are waiting for Palli. Karthi tries to hurry them, but palli returns by then. She wants to know where they are going, they mazhuppufy, then priya says, Rukku's house, so Palli says she will also join them. When she goes inside, Karthi says that since Shree is also coming there, she will have to be stopped. He goes on his bike, so that he can call Shree.

Anu wants to know where Nivedha and Manju are headed, they don't know what to say. Kamesh says he and Santhosh are also going with them to see a friend. Anu wants to know if the friend is Vanitha, if she is not allowed to meet her. Nivedha tries to say they are going to a restaurant, but Anu knows they are going to Rukku's house, so she is also going to join them. She goes inside to change, and Nivedha says there is no problem as long as Palli is not there! Keep hoping! The eruption will take place on Monday, and Roja will have the good fortune to find out if Palli hits the ceiling or RR gets thrown out into the streets or Anu dies of a heart attack, or both Palli and Anu die, one of a heart attack, one of anger, or if all three die!

How can a man have a name like RajaRAMAN and have two wives and go around saying he did a thyagam in marrying for the second time? At least the producers need not have given him the name Raman attached to the Raja!

Thursday- pls dont let this "sunday brunch mtg invitees saga" continue for a month.

Tues - aandavaa, just let me have the pleasure of seeing RR's face when confronted by two biwis! Knowing Palli, she will probably go and grab his hand, sending Anu into shock.

Indha serial poora asadu vazhiyaradhu! So near, and yet so close! Innaiki I got a solid headache after watching this show!

Update for Tues, Aug 9, 2011:

Anu takes Shree to the bald upstairs, where Palli is standing. She gives advice to Shree and Palli - everything can be solved if you talk it out (she is a fine person to give this advice, she hides everything from RR, doesn't tell him what is going on in the family!). Shree looks everywhere but at Palli, Palli apologizes again, and goes to fall at Shree's feet, Shree stops her and then opens her faucets and everything is cleared up immediately. Palli hugs her .

Ganesh keeps trying to call RR, he gets through finally and warns RR, but it is too late. RR's car has just entered Ganesh's house. In the meantime, Santhosh goes and tells Anu that RR called, saying he has a headache and tells her that she has to go home immediately. She goes out and sees RR and Sundu in the car. RR says his headache is better now and he has to go back to work (maayamaa vandha thalaivali maayamaa pOchu! - miracles of modern medicine!). She tells him to come inside anyway, he comes reluctantly, but luckily Palli is still upstairs with Shree (or maybe she is in the kitchen - who knows, these people have these huge mansions where a person can get lost easily.>?) Anu takes him and Sundu (why is this mundiri kottai always tagging with RR Doesn't he even have the decency to leave the couple alone for some time?) upstairs to meet Vanitha, and Palli comes downstairs by some other way, so she doesn't see him. She asks about Anu and is told that she has taken her husband upstairs to meet Vanitha. Karthi tells her that RR called and said that he had a headache, so she leaves. Anu and RR come down, followed by kamesh and Vanitha (I think - there were too many people coming and going today) as well as viswanathan and Sivagami.

Priya says, Good thing we just missed Palli. RR asks why karthi didn't tell him that Palli was there. Karthi tells him to go home since he is supposed to have a headache (what a big baby, he needs his wife when he has a headache - can't he just pop two pills like everyone else and keep working?) Vanitha wonders what is going on.

RR and Sundu in the car - RR is gloating over how his two wives thudichufy when he has a headache (yeah, and I also wondered about this!) and Sundu tells him how lucky he is to have two such wives (and I practically threw up!). RR goes back to work.

Update for Tues, Aug 16, 2011:

Anu slips and falls, becomes unconscious. Santhosh and Manju come running up to her, and then to show their intelligence, keep telling her to wake up, and asking her what happened. Thank God for Nivedha, she runs, gets some water and sprinkles it on her face. She says that she slipped and hit her head and fainted, and it hurts badly, and no one has the intelligence to insist on her seeing the doctor, when she says it is nothing much and all she needs is some rest. In fact, no one even thinks of calling the ever absent father, who is probably busy cooing with the other biwi, fulfilling his thyagam requirements! I can't stand this serial!

Anu is helped into her bed, and Nivedha (with green nails!) goes to get her some coffee. Santhosh gets a call from karthi, whom he addresses as ANNa. Karthi wants him to bring some file with him when he comes in to work, Santhosh updates him about Anu's accident. Anu asks who is calling and then asks for the phone and talks to Karthi herself, saying she is okay, and then wants to know what the call was about. Karthi says it is about some job for Santhosh, and she says she will make sure that Santhosh gets there.

Adhi and Prem - Adhi is upset about something. It turns out he is working in some computer company, he had some great sales figures, boss praised him, but now the client hasn't yet paid the money for the last two months and the boss holds Adhi responsible to collect the money within a week. Prem wants to know who it is and Adhi takes him there.

MK is talking to some client who hasn't paid his previous bill. The client denies this, and says he has already paid, which MK says he hasn't. Just then Adhi and Prem come there, and they also ask for the money within a week, and the man is belligerent about it. He finally agrees to pay up after a week. MK is told to bring the unpaid bills.

Santhosh is talking to a friend and says he will be at peace only after his mother and the other biwi get together. Karthi comes there, tells santhosh that he was forced to lie when Anu asked if they were working in the same office, so in future, he should go to another room when attending Karthi's calls if Anu happens to be in the same room. Santhosh's friend thanks Karthi and tells him his father wants to meet him.

MK sees Gopi and tells him about the client not paying up his dues. Gopi wants to know who it is, and when MK tells him about the guy, Gopi says he is a big cheat and says he will collect the dues. MK tells him to go to the shop and collect the copies of the past due bills and go home, and leaves without telling Gopi where he is headed.
