Kesar is an emotional jumping jack. His slogan after Talli therapy session was "Gulaal ki khusi ke liye". In the aftermath of the panchayaat session where he went to call it off. PoonamBa comes to him begging to take back his decision, he ensures her that he will look after gulaal's happiness, wherever she chooses to be and Revaji is very satisfied at this commitment. And later he does everything to support his commitment to do things which will make Gulaal happy, that includes the champa and the friends. Kaan pakk gaye thay ke Gulaal ki Khushi ke liye, sunn sunn kar.
Then he wanted to be friends with her, so that whatever time (3 months) they have left, should be comfortable/memorable.
After her friends leave, Gulaal has her internal review and suspects Kesar that he has a motive behind being Mr. Nice with Gulaal. Kesar gives her his perspective and becomes angry. Gulaal understands. She apologizes and wants to continue as friends.
Then steps in Sarru fui. She is very fond of Gulaal and happy to see Gulaal with Kesar. Earlier the family had decided to hide the truth of DV breakup from her. Sarru Fui wants to favor Gulaal and Kesar by giving them 500acres of land for their baby. Then during the Talli sagai Gulaal is made to participate in rituals where all suhagans are invited. Then came the varat for the sake husband and also for having a baby.
Gulaal who never wanted to participate in such rituals earlier, agrees to participate not only for the sake of MotaBha and Giga Kaka, but also suddenly considers that as her dharam. She just wanted to spend these remaining 2 months as friends. Later when Kesar asks about her motives of doing so, she tells Kesar that she is having a change of heart and feels that this is her home and hoping for something to happen that she does not have to leave the house and the family.
This also gives a strong hint that storyline is coming at another bend. Jahan she will suffer again. Although her kundali says that she will always win.
Kesar has suddenly changed his behavior. Firstly he overreacts to what Gulaal is doing for the family and Sarru Fui, inspite of what Gulaal tells him. He fasts along with Gulaal just to show that if Gulaal can do it for the remaining marriage period, he can also do it. He is echoing Gulaal behavior but what came as a surprise from his mouth is the new support slogan. He says, "mein ab humarey rishtay ke kal ke barrey main nahin sochta," where as in the last episode he entire reasoning was based on why are you doing this and when you have to leave after 2 months. "par jo wadah mein ne apney aap se kya hai, woh toh mujhay poora karna hi padhey ga, teri khushi mein bhaley tere sath na rahoon, tere dukh mein, teri har takleef mein, saath denay ka mera wadah hai apne aap se, aur woh wadah mein nahin todh sakta." Ab yeh wadah kab kya. Woh toh Gulaal ki khushi ki baat thi, ab khushi is less important, but takleef and dukh-dard is more important. Yeh shift kahan se aagaya? What a kalabaazi.!!!! Its a prelude to the end.

He will he do something stupid in his anger ( Gulaal has been telling him to control his anger) and will also bring Gulaal in such a position where she will be blamed? Vasant's murder disclosure???

Folks, its shifting towards an Amer Prem story (wow, really unique, never seen or heard this concept before, except few songs, kuchh toh log kahenge, yeh kya hua..), left at a point with no closure. Showing Kesar's true love for Gulaal and the show will leave us all the material to carry out our never-ending analysis and speculations and telling our grand children about this wonderful show. So be happy. At least, we are witnessing an important milestone in the history of TV daily shows.
