Diya baati replacing Gulaal from 15th of August

Sumit and Shashi Mittal's new show on Star Plus is gearing up for its launch and the latest we hear is that the title that has been circulating in the media has till now been incomplete. The actual title of the show is Diya Aur Baati Hum.

Tellybuzz had already mentioned that Diya Aur Baati Hum will be replacing Sphere Origin'sGulaal and accordingly a source tells, " Diya Aur Baati Hum has been slotted to go on air from 15th of August at 9:00 PM wherein Gulaalis presently on air."

"The promo shoot will take place on 3rd of August, "signs off source.

We contacted Producer Summit Mittal and he said, "I don't want to comment on anything as of now, and audience will get to know about the show as soon as it hits the channel."

Diya Aur Baati Hum indeed seems to be a promising show coming for Star Plus...

I am really disappointed with the channel how can they let a unique show like gulaal end , I hope they will reconsider and change the time slot and not disappoint the viewers .

what can say😭😭.I am watching gulaal only for neil. Because of TAM rateing now it will go off.i do not know what type of show ppl like .😡

Mujhe sirf ye bataani hai.. To the CVs of upcoming shows in SP. Galati se bi mat kehna ki Aapka show ek promising and unique show hai.. If it turns out to be that much PROMISING & UNIQUE u will loose the 9pm(so called prime time) slot..shifted to another not so prime time slot or will be axed abruptly. So if u wnt your show to go on for like 5-6 yrs pls make sure to add the below mentioned extremely important ingredients..
1. An artful, envious, cruel Saas n an innocent/courageous bahu or vice versa
2. The arrogant, rich business tycoon n a middle class, proud girl ka love story (or vice versa)
3. There has to be hawaa or rain everywhere the girl goes, for sure..
4. Main lead has to cry like everyday, once is the minimum limit.
5. Memory loss is very crucial.
6. If a person dies in your show he/she must return alive. Plastic surgery would be a bonus.
7. Never let the main leads speak their heart out. Direct and honest expressing of feelings of the characters is never regarded good.
8. Bad people should always remain bad. Taking revenge, hatred must be like the theme.U can make them good when the story ends.
9. Be sure to keep the female character younger than the male lead ***
10. The female characters should be in full makeup all the day with heavy jewellery and an exquisite wardrobe. Make sure that they sleep with their jewellery n makeup too.

More than anything else never let anyone(even your fans) say that the story is different or unique.. That would be like a deathsentence to your show.
