as far as I know, a child from a void marriage can claim rights on the property of his parents only, and no one else. so Gauri's child may claim rights on Jagat's property(jo hai hi nehi😛), but not Singh family's.

Unless they leap and show the kid 25 yrs from now fighting for it's right I hardly envisage ds sending a baby hamper to all or one of jagats kids born out of wedlock. Let alone signing off her property.

Gauri will scream and shout and create scenes and accuse Anandi of trying to steal her child when she could not regain Jagya's love, but ultimately being the selfish people they are Gauri and Jagya will give away their child to Anandi and Dadisa.

Legally all the property belongs to Dadisa and Basanth and Bhairon. Basanth and Bhairon have already disinherited Jagya and also his children if he has any from the union with Gauri. That leaves only Dadisa, if she dies without a will, then only the property that is not already distributed to the other heirs will become family property. In that property equal share has to be given to Basanth, Bhairon, Nandu, Suguna, Suguna's son, Suguna's daughter, Jagya and Jagya's children if he has any. Dadisa has already distributed all her jewelry and business interest in her lifetime, which leaves only the haveli with so many claimants. If all other claimants are living in the haveli, at best Jagya and his children can ask for a room, and other residents have to give them that share - which could be the cowshed or even the outhouse where Suguna had to stay. The non-resident claimants can have no say in the choice of room.
