So my humble request is, please stop making posts that demand people to make more posts. I may be in the minority when I say I don't come on IF to make Geet no.1, I come to discuss the show that I have grown to love so much and if I see that Geet is no. 1 that is an extra bonus! I won't love the show any less if it isn't at the top position and if it is falling from that position maybe we should consider what that means: that there are other genuinely good shows out there. So let things happen naturally, let people discuss the show if they feel like it because people creating topics just to increase the traffic is causing genuine posts, which people take a lot of effort to write, to disappear before they are viewed properly and all of us miss out on them. Also, just taking my example into account, it becomes extremely discouraging to even create posts when you get so few responses.
Creating posts just to bump the show up is one of the distorting factors of IF that Vijay Bhatter was concerned about and why he wanted to include TRPs in the calculation of the CM. And I am sure, considering so much of the negative response to his new algorithm was from GF members, he will be observing this forum keenly.
I do believe that Geet deserves to be no.1 as it unanimously wins in popularity on any online platform. BUT people who don't watch Geet don't know why we love it so much and are probably suspicious of how successful it is, given that from the outside it seems like such an ordinary story. They are probably searching for a reason, other than how good the show is for its apparent popularity and too many posts which demand more posts, or for people to hit the chaskameter, or worst, those that tell members not to visit other forums will just fan the flames. There are established stickies and threads for the first two where you can discuss it, and the third (telling people to stay away from other forums) should just not happen.
So here is my humble opinion. Thanks for reading.
