I want to know what practical implications there would be for this couple even if the marriage were shown to them to be illegal - in the absence of anandi's unwillingness to file a case.
I mean they will just go to Mumbai and start living together like a married couple... and do everything like a married couple. The only practical implication of this illegal marriage comes to light if Anandi were to file a case - then J will go to jail.Everyone on the forum is saying that this will teach Gauri a lesson when she comes to know. But what lesson ? -- there will only be the initial "jhatka" - then she will forget it (given her short-term memory) and still continue to be J's wife in Mumbai.Unless J goes to jail, (because he is the only culprit - he failed to reveal his marriage to anandi on the court document) - there will be no implications for gauri so what lesson will she learn?BTW, out of curiosity, how do they document this child marriage of A and J? Does the village sarpanch and any two witnesses have to give testimony in court that these two were indeed married as children? what are the proofs they have to provide?

Complety agree !!!it matters because gauri is very insecure towards jagya and its only legality of her marriage giving her power to face every one.deep down in heart she always knew their is some feelings exist between anadi and jagya so she will always have a fear of losing jayga which is her punishment
