So I know ALL of us have been waiting with bated breaths for these TRPs... including me 😳😳... what with the new track and all!!
I thought I'd just do a quick analysis to explain the numbers before you see them... so that you dont get disheartened...😊😊
So... this week too there is no difference in the TRPs...
But hang on... hang on... 😆😆 some theory imp for you to understand...
- As i have mentioned earlier... TRPs are a waited average of Reach (number of people watching) + Time Spent (amount of time for which watching) While Reach tells us how many people are watching...
- Time Spent is an indication of the whether the serial is interesting... coz if the amount of time people watch an episode for, goes up, it means that the serial is getting interesting and the serial is on the right track...
Now what has happened is that the AVG. TIME SPENT has gone up (with the Monday episode going up as high as 14 min compared to 10 earlier)... which means this ML track and a rebooting of the romance has got back interest... now it is just a case of how beautifully the CVs can utilize this great opportunity the ML track has given them and how they make sure that the smaller glitches in the track get ironed out...
Why the TRPs havent gone up is because the REACH has gone down... basically 'Ram Milayi Jodi' and 'Ye Rishta kya kehlata hai' have done very well compared to last week... and hence their reach has gone up... leading to some Geet people going away to these channels!!
At the end, what is required is that we sustain the momentum, IRON OUT THE GLITCHES (there were some episodes even last week which suddenly showed much lower TIme SPent ) and wait for the others to come back... 😳😳
