Totally upset with A's parents !

Aren't there any of their elderly relatives /Influential people of their village,who can

question & settle the issue?They can even come with a lawyer ! They have

the responsibility to boost-up the courage in their ONLY daughter.

Are they trying to save the haveli ijjat which had been shattered by the HAVELI

MAN,j,HIMSELF? or

Are they feeling that shouting out louder would work in their favor?or by shouting n

screaming their role is over?

They should not leave haveli nor allow J to leave Haveli until A's issue be resolved

in the first case!

By keeping Anandi as the haveli servant, without sending A along with J to

Mumbai,they made her a permanent servant.

As we have been constantly affirming ,that the case is NO MORE a child

marriage,but of a betrayal by a partner with all conscience!,at least now if Anandi

does not wish to agree for a mutual consent,J will be arrested immediately along

with Gouri ALSO,for trying to influence/convince forcibly that their marriage is legal

without trying ever to know what actually legality is!

EXPECT A DECENT HANDLING OF THE ISSUE OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE!

LET THE VILLAGE PEOPLE OF JAITSER ALSO DISCUSS THE ISSUE AS TO

HOW TO WARD OFF THE EVILS LIKE THIS,& SO ON!AS THEIR EVIL CUSTOM PRODUCED

A SHATTERED LIFE!,WHICH IS A DEFEAT TO THEIR CUSTOMS!

When Anandi herself does not wish to be with him any more,there's no point in

stretching the issue that hurt Anandi even more!,without any solution.Because this is

a normal divorce case that involves atrocities by J on his legal wife A. More over,as

far as the atrocity is concerned,Bhairon can complain,& to that matter,ANY BODY

IN THE SOCIETY can lodge a complaint against J.Just like you lodge a complaint

on a vehicle driver who dashed off a pedestrian & caused an accident!J HAD RESORTED TO VERBAL AS WELL AS EMOTIONAL ABUSE OF HIS WIFE & BY ALL MEANS PUNISHABLE UNDER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACT,2005 (WITHOUT ISSUING THE DIVORCE ALSO) ref http://wcd.nic.in/wdvact.pdf

True that this would not lead to any ultimate outcome, there is some thing emotional envolment in all this as well...A mother can never stay calm, when it comes to her child...If she would be as calm as Anandi was in all this, then we would have said the same, as many say today...That how come she is so quite...Anandi's mom is in true shock, as her daughter has served the house for 16 years...And in lue of legal thing, Anandi's parents are from a village...Even Bhairon came to know about the leagality issue, when he went to the lawyer, not before that...Many people don't know about this...

Look at Gauri, though she knows that she is wrong, she is constantly verbally abusing everyone, then think what are Anandi's parents going through...If they know what they can do with Jagya, they will not hesitate even for a minute to throw him in jail...but for now, they are over come with grief and are just too emotional to react in anyother way, than questioning the people of the house, who have always claimed that Anandi is their daughter...!!

I agree with you. I a sure if they come to know abot the legality of the whole thing, they will not stay calm and will surely do something about that, i hope that happens.
Though I want anandi to move on , I don't want J and G to be let off the hook, they deserve to be punished.

We all want the same, but I doubt, Anandi will let that happen...But, I even hope that like Bhairav, her parents should not listen to her and try their best to do what ever they can, to teach JG lesson...Doing this, they will not only give justice to their daughter, but also teach lesson to those people, who are as corrupt as these two and more so...!!

Agreed that A's parents are from a village.But they have the teacher of Anandi know?Atleast they can bring her along with.Even if not now itself,they should never leave it like this & go back to village.It is they who were failed by a culprit in discharging their parental obligations towards A.They should see that JG marriage stands nullified until the settlement of the case.AS ANANDI DOES NOT WISH TO DIVORCE ,THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT J COULD PROCEED FURTHER WITH HIS BAZAR AURAT!

Just like suguna got re-married after her first husband died,A's marriage could also be performed by Bhairon as he considered his son as DEAD! but A has 2 agree 4 that!

Hence all the commotion is due to Anandi's double standards,that on one hand (1) she does not wish to divorce him as she still love him! & on other hand,(2) She does not make any attempt to get back Jagya(just as little anandi did the other day) by taking both civil as well as criminal proceedings against JG,as she is aware of the legalities.

Their Lawyer had also talked about the child marriage only.But our case is NOT that as JA had already crossed the mandatory age limits.The lawyer never cared(because he NEED NOT care??,It's never that.He could have advised atleast know?) about how to save A 's marriage as well as haveli's ijjat.

Totally agree ! I have been feeling for the longest time that the Haveli was so far bound by DS's last hope to try n make Jagya see the facts and think for himself. Also, Anandi is not able to bring herself to do anything - she's feeling paralysed from this combined - hurt of rejection, of being lied to, the blatant display of Gauri, wishing it were back to normal, loving Jagya and above all - not wanting to upset anyone in the household.

As such - Anandi shud have talked to someone who wud give her good advice. there r lots of people who wish her well and wud choose impartially for her

- Bhairon tried but she rejected it as too harsh.

- Phooli tried but she decided to keep her out of her affairs.

- Her parents wud have heard her but she thought it wud hurt them.

- Sarpanch urged the family - but Anandi chose to just then realize Gauri's pain above her own.

But sometimes I think she becomes her own worst enemy. She's strong enuf to counter the whole village's opinion - like she did with Phooli. But here - her love for J has just crippled her.

Am sure eventually she'll urge her parents to go away and leave her to her own means right here and frustrate them too. Anandi likes to do things at her own pace - she will I wish - leave this house and go, but I have ZERO hopes of that too.

A's parents reaction was totally justified...Any parent will give same reaction if one's daughter's life is destroyed this way...lawyer and panchayat comes later in the picture 1st one needs to take out the anger and frustration...and who else is the right person to receive it...her in laws of course...

I am happy tht they showed their anger instead of asking their daughter to adjust for the sake of family honour...I wish all Indian parents were strong like Anandi's there wld be lot less dowry and harassment cases by the in laws.

Anandi is justified for her actions she might get GAGA's marriage annuled by court and panchayat but wat will be use of tht...Jagya wont stay with her...he's claiming he loves gauri and whts the use of living with him forcefully.U cant force someone to love u back.

Even if he's forced to stay with Anandi he'll behave badly and their relationship wld be a burden on both of them.

Anandi has let him go and she's trying to move on by bringing all the legalities she'll be just wasting her time.

so the best thing is let GAGA go back n rot in mumbai.Anandi shld study and move on in life.

As the saying goes "I am a MOTHER. and a MOTHER doesn't have to be rational" I don't think what A's mother did was wrong, she did what any real mother would do, she fought to protect her child. I loved what A's mother said, she really made some valid points both to the Shamless pair, but also to Dadisa and family. I know she will give the pair a sound hearing, but them being them, are to thick headed to feel any remorse. Also you shouldn't completely blame A's mother and father, what they heard came straight from Phooli, who is not to be blamed in anyway, but we all know she loves Anandi so much, and I am sure that she would of emphaisised the injustice that Anandi is going through more then the actual facts.Either way my favorite line was at the end, when A's mom said that she has such a relation with Jagya that she not only has the right to raise her hand on him, if she wanted she could by right break his hands.

I think Jagya would heave a sigh of relief if someone told him that his marriage to gauri is illegal. I am sure he wants to get back to being the ladesaar of the haveli!!!!
