Arn't we jumping the gun a bit here..the two are not even on talking terms , infact Khushi ji has decided that all silence is golden and when ASR is around even more so ..So how are they going to be married ??I mean marriage ususally means a joining in mind , BODY and soul...but here we are way off the mark..I think this marriage storyline is usually so hackneyed that I don't know how the makers are going to make it any different..(sorry excuse the cyniscism here but I for one am not a happy bunny with the marriage thingy ) For one the message that is sent out is that marriage of convenience is a damn easy way to get out of a sticky situation..why trivialise the institution of marriage ..Now how about some straight talking for a change...I just hope if this marriage happens then we still get enough spark and sizzle to me glued to the TV screen..*again sorry for the rant*

Now that is off..today was the proverbial calm before the storm..

The Venue is set..check

The sarees are worn ..check

The henna is tatooed..check

The Vrat is still unbroken..check

The sugars are dipping dipping dipping..has anyone noticed that sugars are a major theme here..high sugars..low sugars..very low sugars..*FAINT*...Check

Today's episode was enjoyable though..Somehow I enjoy how the other team players play their part.

Lavanya was hilarious as she catered to her spud eating fantasies and is about to tuck in the biggest bowl of crisps ( hello ..has anyone heard of having a regular bag..but no it doesn't rain but it pours)when she gets a phonecall from her worst nightmare called Anjali who is sooo goddam sweet and dense at the same time telling Lavs to deck her self up to join the saree brigade and meet them at the madir..Lav's crispy fantasy ends there and then..GAWD I find her hilarious..

Anjali..Gosh how can she be Arnav's sister..so sweet,, genuinely interested..she is a REAL person..A PEOPLE's person..Love her today how she fought LAv's case for her bro in front of Dadi..

and then our Arnav and Khushi own in their world of thought as they tried to cleanse *Pun intended* themselves of the colour..but the colour has gone deep...borrowing from the great stephanie mayer..IMPRINTED...and WHAT a moment..when ASR claims..how Khushi chatter used to bother him..Now her silence *read indifference* bothers him...Why indeed?? so kiya naam doon?? ARnav by the way looked so sexy..he is really too sexy for his pants..I say..

Then We had Dadi and Manorma ...and despite the fact they are at loggerheads..Dadi still gave MAnorma her share of clothes and Teej..AWWW So sweet..

and Lastly ..Shyam Ji..who is a walking advert for stalking without being too obvious and leering at Khushi in her sari..UFF Disgusting...less said the better..

So all in all a feel good episode..
