The days just passed quick to weeks and the Delhi house was getting active again. Suchi reported back to work, and shared her joy of the new addition with her friends.

I tell you Dev she is going to fill your heart when she grow up, and now she just smiles laying in your lap, soon she will lay on that floor and turn and then started crawling his voice started escalating and then soon she will be holding onto things and standing up, then you might have to run behind her, and then once she get stable on her feet, she gets the wings and she will also fly away, the wetness in his tone witht hat looks at the horizon did catch Dev's attention just like any other girl, just like our radhika, then you won't get a chance to see her either. So I am telling you, enjoy every minute with her and I am sure she is going to fill not only your heart but also the minds of surender and suchi too.

His talk went on. Dev felt an unknown energy passing from his dadaji to him, that all that tiredness disappered from his dadaji's face.

Dev went to Delhi the next week, he felt some unesiness leaving chandenpur this time. The day at office mostly went on phone and sammy teased him for that.

One night Dev was sitting over the seat in the garden and was simply looking over.

Suchi: so you are missing your family already

Dev: don't know mom, I think I am

Suchi: so why did you left them behind

Dev; I don't know. Maybe I am seeing Radhika more silent now a days, or maybe I am just feeling it, she is not talking much

Suchi with smile: now Radhika is not just yours, but chudki's too, and she is a mom , and didn't you see, she hardly get a goodnight sleep, you don't know how many times she getting up in the middle of her rest time

Dev: not that mom

Suchi: um, I know , don't blame unnecessarily ok, poor Radhika, she is

Interupting Suchi, Dev: mom, I am not blaming her mom

Suchi: you better not, and let her take some rest ok.

Dev: ji

Suchi held his shoulder: Ha Dev, I am not saying you are blaming her, she is adjusting to her new role, as a mother which is more responsible than a new dad. You are doing your part well, but for Radhika, she needs to get that physical comfort too. For her it is complete change of her being,now she may spend more time with her daughter only, and that becomes her priortiy automatically, even her husband comes second to her kid. It is a transition. Second doesn't mean that she is going to ignore you, but she may expect you to do many things that you can before her hands come on that, it is not that she is avoiding you, it can be that small talk that you were sharing. You should understand her and support her.

Dev: ji

Suchi: come let's have dinner

They walked in. Dev was standing near that window in his room thinking about his mom's talk and talked to self: no mom, it is not that priority, there is somehting else she is hiding inside her, I noticed it prior to delivery too. I thought it is just that fraction of moment that I felt, but then Sammy changed the subject, so I did not ask her. But she is getting lost in between, she is flying to somewhere, I thought I knew her well, I waited for her to tell me, why she is hesitating to tell me, maybe this weekend, when I get there , I will surely ask her, I want to know'.
