I think if dadaji had revealed it before Dev would have been in danger. But,then I feel sorry for Dev since he had to stay as a servant & had to go through hell. Dadaji could have said that he was some relative's son & his parents are no more.That would have still been a better option & he wouldn't have been under so much obligation.
