What do you guys think? howcome Dev is legitimate (which he should ofcourse) and yet has been a such a big secret ..interesting turn ...waiting impatiently to see how creatives present this? Bravo creatives...really going good...

Yeh, I don't understand why Dadaji would hide such a secret. 😕 But you have to admit that it was a nice twist to the story, sort of like in CB1 when Rad was Bramhin. Anyway, Choti Bahu is definitely going really good now. Can't wait for this week's drama-filled episodes. Hoping that cvs expose all secrets so that we can start on a fresh slate. It would be really nice to to see Rad and Dev working together to fulfill the responsibilities of RP.

also I think.. maybe dadaji wanted to protect RP title from those who want to attack it and to not go in wrong hands so maybe that's why he tried to hide this...

Here is my take on this:

Hari Purohit married Dev's mom after falling in love with her.but kept it a secret from his family(may be waiting for the right moment or may be was afraid to tell his dad). But then Mr.Sr.Purohit fixed his wedding with Padma, and to uphold the honor of the family, he married Padma. But when he married her, he still loved his first wife. Padma's child is Rohan and then Dev's mom gave birth to Dev. Then may be he met with accident or something, and finally revealed the truth to Dadaji who brought Dev home but did NOT have heart to revealt he truth to Padma all these years, as he did not want Padma to have ill feelings for his son.

Hope they have a good, logical and if possible a clever reply to this question. The first person who should be thinking about this should be Dev himself! Why was he given a treatment like a servant when he too was one of the son of the family? Had he been given the tag earlier, he wouldnt have had to go thru so much pain in his life? The insecurity that ate him up and because of which he decided that Rohan was better suited for Rads would have never came up if he knew that he too was a Purohit member! Dev is bound to be hurt at first...but hope Dadajee's explanation is better!

Probably, the one explanation stated above could be right as many of us are thinking the same...that Dev is Harinath's (Rp's second son) son from his first wife who was never disclosed to anyone.

Now probably Padma has many reasons to hate Dev!

Good question but it was an interesting twist to the show. I just hope the truth comes out about what Maheshwari and Rohan were doing. I want to see Radhika and Dev in this fight together, all secrets should come out this week

Maybe Dadaji knew about Maheswari's greed and thought she would have harmed Dev if she was aware he would be the future RP...

I feel he kept quiet for Padma and whatever is the story will come out because Ddg 1st asks Padma to forgive him before he revealed anything.

It is going to be heart-breaking times for Dev and Radhika. If it is revealed that Dev is going to be the RP, Padma and rohan will never allow Dev and Radhika come together. But both of them have it in them to fight now, I am hoping that Dev is not made the son of Padma under any circumstances.

It is easy to tell a lot of bad things like gandha khoon, gandhi jubaan and naukar and such things, now how do you take back your words? Any person having some conscience to be answerable to has to feel miserable about their acts. This in itself will define a good atma vs a bad.

i do wish that dadaji is kept alive and help Dev and radhika now. He is an excellent actor and can deliver the goods effectively. I also hope that his reason for keeping this a secret all along is for a genuine cause.

It was probably done to protect both Padma and Dev. RP didn't want to hurt anyone, he probably thought he was doing the right thing by keeping this a secret but given the circumstances he had no choice but to reveal the truth.
