Naushaad Saab, regarded as one of the greatest music composers of Indian Cinema, a man whose story is literally that of rags to riches, a man who carved a place for himself in the hearts of his million fans, all over the globe, he who gave playback singing in Indian Cinema a whole new dimension.... He passed away on 5th May, 2006, leaving a void in the hearts of music lovers, a void which can never be filled by any other.
Who can forget Mere Mehboob, full of urdu shayari or the completely classical Baiju Bavra. A man who was equally at ease with Shayari as well as Hindustani Classical or devotional songs.. or romantic numbers.
