PART -3

nupur went back to her cabin ,there was some pending work and she started to go through the files one by one.she was almost done when she got a call from deepthi she and her husband owned the Sood industries. she was nupur's best mate too. they used to meet frequently at parties and other business gatherings. deepthi had called up to enquire about the ongoing works regarding their new branch. her husband siddharth was busy with another project so he had entrusted deepthi with the responsibility of the delhi branch. deepthi took it as a challenge and wanted everything to be perfect. she was a bit tensed as it was a big responsibility. nupur could understand her sentiments and she patiently helped her out with all her doubts. she was too engrossed in the call that she dint notice mayank who had come to call her for the meeting with the prataps. mayank dint want to disturb her so he left a note with nupur's P.A.

nupur was fully exhausted after the call. she checked the phones timer and saw that they had talked for almost an hour an a half. nupur leaned back in her chair resting her head against the seat.she was happy that she had convinced deepthi that there was nothing to worry about and the promotional work was well taken care off.at the end of the day she wanted her clients to be happy. he P.A handed her mayank's note.
she smiled at his note he had drawn a smiley face on it :)

nupur felt a bit odd .. mohini was with mayank!! she felt bad that he culdn't go with him. she was confused , she leaned onto the back seat and closed her eyes. she dozed off .

nupur got up with a sudden jolt. a bad dream... something happening to mayank ... she was sweating profusely. she was terrified .she downed a glass of water and called mayank.

The prataps were perfectionists and mayank knew this well. they were discussing about their new business strategies .,they had zeroed in on theme advertising it was when mayank got nupur's call ...he asked mohini to msg nupur.

nupur was still trying .. she was walking back and forth she looked tensed... and den

mohini's msg
mayank sir is busy..😲

nupur badly wanted to hear his voice...but bad luck he was busy. nupur sent a thank you msg to her.

she felt tired and din't feel like working.. she went back home .took a shower and made herself a cup of coffee . she tried mayank in between he picked up
mayank:nupur srry rlly busy out here we'll talk later ok bye.
nupur was releived to hear his voice.
she finished her coffee called shilpa aunty.
n: hello maa
s:haan bolo beta
n:how was ur day??
s: it went fine . where is mayu??
n: he's busy with some clients, i came back early
s: accha beta, u sound tired. u allryt??
n:haa maa main teek hoon
s: accha beta ab mein rakti hu . take care
n:bye maa

shilpa aunty could sense the sadness in nupur's voice. she knew her dil too well...

nupur went back to the kitchen and prepared dinner. she went upstairs and started reading some magazines , her head was hurting soshe switched off th bedside lamp and closed her eyes. she soon drifted off to sleep.

it was 8.30 when mayank reached home. he was tired as hell. he had removed his jacket and his hair was messy.
he got in using his spare key.. he kept his laptop andfles on the dining table and went upstairs to their bedroom
he switched on the lights in thei room and saw nupur sleeping peacefully ..he switched off the light and sat beside her. she murmured in her sleep and her face looked tensed...mayank kissed her on her cheeks and was about to kiss her ahnd when she got up with a jolt. mayank was shocked...he switched on the lights . nupur was releived to see him.nupur was breathing fast and mayank held her shoulders.

nupur culdn't control anymore.she hugged mayank and strted crying mayank was shocked by this,he comforted he by rubbing her back.. she felt secure in his hands she took time to stop crying and when she did he cupped her face and asked her about the matter.
nupur told him about her bad dream and how much he missed him. mayank felt bad. he comforted her saying that it was just a drem and he will never leave her and go. they hugged again.😳😛
mayank took a quick shower and changed into a offwhite cargo pants and grey t shirt.
nupur had heated up the food . it smelled delicious and mayank was hungry. they fed each other mayank really liked nupurs cooking she had learnt everything from his mom .
