For me,the show ended the day the genre of the serial was changed from a family drama to a romantic love story.I dont want to say who has said this, and how I got to know about this(so pls dont interogate)š..but the day the hum tum song was shown on TV,someone from the production house said in a site that they have failed in their attempt to show a family story due to the demand of the audience for just a love story.
I couldnt agree more and a witness to that statement, part of it is the channel,s fault they are so obsessed with LOVE STORY that every other Star Plus serial is about Love, then falling in love, then forgetting Love, then finding it again , then falling again, then living in love again. They cant think beyond that, and it affects the actors ability to do something different. Like at the moment in SGP every character has been given a new lease of life, all the other characters has been given wonderful and meaningful dialogues and they are doing fantastic job , even the new actor who joined in the middle is giving awesome performance that we hardly miss the old one and what is Suhana and Ishaan getting ???? well cheesy and cheap lines, jumping and falling on bed, followed by wiered expressions and over acting. So far the same dialogue has been repeated at least 3-4 time,s on different ocassions, " Mai Tumhay Khona Nahi Chati" and " Mai Tumhari Aankhon Mai Sapnay Bhar doonga " even these lines are nothing impressive. Even if they want to show the insecurity in Suhana they could come up with better lines.
