Not all the time but sometimes. when we are doing some work we should try to do it perfect then we can put our full effort to it . I know humans do mistakes somehow we can manage to do a good job from that concept.

Agree, the problem with perfection is at least two-fold, one we can get carried away with idealizing things into impossibilities and two we end up asserting statements that that are unlikely to be the case in the real world, e.g. you may believe you have free will or believe in God; two things that are probably figments of our overeager imaginations.

Perhaps we have limited free will. Basically even my own body is not kept alive my me, I can look after it but there is some other power that controls n determines its functions and life span.
Each of us are a part of the whole.
