Family wants Alka to move on
Blood is thicker than water. It is true for this family as they collectively believe that it is time that Alka should move on with her life. Loneliness can set the ball rolling for a whole range of psychological problems. In Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein, Alka, who has lost her husband, Chander has slipped into depression and is losing her mind.
Thats not all, the loss of her husband has made her take a drastic step. She has tried to commit suicide to escape this world without Chander. But there's always sunshine after a cloudy day. Her supportive family believes it is time Alka gets a fresh start and think about her future plans. The concerned family members bare their heart out as they speak about Alka's health.
We spoke to Savitri who is most worried about Alka's state, "Mothers too are affected when they see their children in despair". She speaks out about her daughter, "Being a mother, I am feeling helpless to see her in this condition. Somewhere down the line I am angry with myself as I can't help my daughter come out of this situation. I think she should leave behind the past, join politics and work for the development of the youth of the society. I am hoping that my strong, ambitious daughter will break from her shell."
Brotherly love is something all sisters cherish, Abhishek Tiwari aka Deepak Wadwaa talks about his sister, "I know it's a huge tragedy for everyone in the family, but it breaks my heart to see my sister crestfallen and depressed. It is difficult to forget someone especially if you are attached to that person. Chanders death has affected Alka emotionally. I only hope she comes back to reality and face life once again. I don't think suicide is the answer, I strongly believe my sister is tough and she will overcome all adversaries."
In the real world, sisters do not get along with their bhabhis, but it is not the same for this family. Gauri aka Sheetal Dabholkar says, "I understand her state of mind and it's very difficult to come out of such a huge personal tragedy. This is not the end of the road for her as we all are here to support her. I suggest she should concentrate on her political career, it is the only way to divert her mind and move on. I am waiting to see my old Alka back."
Lastly, Aarti aka Neeta Shetty says, "I know what Alka is going through and it's not easy. Mentally she has received a major shock. But I think its time for her to come out and take responsibility of her party. If she immerses herself in work she will come to her strong self. Time will heal, she needs time to settle down. I will support her in every way possible."
We are hoping that audience will get to see the old Alka back in Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein every Monday to Friday at 9 pm only on STAR One.
