18 July written update

First my apologies--I could not see the full episode, so I can't update the whole thing; but will try my best. Will try to watch the repeat and fill in the missing parts tomorrow.

--first few minutes missed--
Shikha and her hubby (what's his name again?) are talking about allowing Sarika to go to college. Shikha says she is happy with this decision because now other members in the family will also slowly start getting the freedom to do the things they want. Her hubby smiles.

Sarika happily calls up her mother to tell her about the decision. Laxmi is very happy. Dadisa also talks to her on the phone and conveys her joy, and invites Laxmi to come home next day and give Sarika her blessings before she leaves for college. But Sarika's dadi says this decision will lead to problems.

Jay is happily preparing gifts for Sarika in the guest room, when Ghutan and Taruna enter. Taruna says he has done a lot to help Sarika achieve her dream. She goes to talk to Sarika who is happily preparing for college. But when Taruna tries to talk to her about forgiving Jay, she recalls what Jay had told her about not caring for her dreams. She tells Taruna that she had fallen in love with Jay, and when someone you love hurts you, it's not so easy to forget. Jay overhears all this.
