Arohi was very nervous to talk to Arjun again by his looks she was sure that he wasn't happy at all. Arohi was not happy but satisfied that some of her questions will be answered while both of them are working together on the same project. As she was very studious she didn't want to take any risk in her project therefore she decided to go to Arjun and take his contact number.
"Landline or Mobile number?" someone asked from behind Arohi
She turned around to look and again shocked to see Arjun standing behind her. How each time she see him he make her startle was one of her questions.
This time Arohi decided to ask him how he come to know what is she thinking.
"As you wish, by the way Arjun can you please trouble yourself to explain me how you came to know that I was going to ask you for your contact number?" Arohi questioned him little awkward.
"I told you before you are easy to read. Secondly you are Miss Studious so obviously you will want to discuss about the project as soon as you go home for which you require my number. Isn't it?" Arjun answered with an ease.
Arohi felt that after many days Arjun is back to normal and he has left his Mr. Reserved style.
"I am impressed. Anyway you are absolutely write and I don't want you to mess with me when it comes to study get it?" Arohi spoke very determined.
"Alright so any thoughts so far Miss Studious?" Arjun again teased her.
"Not yet but as soon as I get any thought I'll ring you up and if by chance something comes to your mind I expect the other way round. Okay?" Arohi replied confidently.
"I don't think I'll deprive you of the chance of selecting the project topic but okay I agree. So I am giving you a miss call on your number save it." Said Arjun
"Hey! Hang on! From where do you get my number?" Arohi asked with another shock.
"Not a big deal. Hospital and your mobile with me helped me I guess." Arjun replied
"You thief you stole my number?" Arohi was in rage again.
"Stole? Haha. Have I used it? I had no work in the hospital while you were resting there unbothered. So I thought let's play with your mobile let me tell you my mobile is 10 times better than you and so do the messages in that" Arjun was talking as if he wasn't bothered about Arohi's reactions.
"You read my messages? OMG why me? God! Why am I stuck with this guy?" Arohi was losing it.
"Good question! I think you are stuck with me because you are meant to be with me someday." Arjun said casually but his eyes said he meant it.
Arohi didn't know what to say the words echoed in her ears. That was so deep. Arohi was about to smile living all her anger behind but her inner voice ordered her "Come back." Arohi was with her angry expressions again.
"You are trying to flirt with me?"
"What do you thing? Do you think I'll waste my time on a girl like you who will make me study even on a date? Nah!! But I liked the way you thought. So all done then shall I leave?" Arjun asked for Arohi's permission.
"I don't think I invited you to talk to me so no need to ask permission. Bye I guess" Arohi said smugly.
Arjun begin to leave saying loudly "I'll wait for you call, bye" which made all the people around to turn and look at Arohi.
Arohi was left embarrassed and she thought "Na Jane Kyu ye mere hi gale paad gaya."

The same night Arohi thought of some project topic. She decided to call Arjun but she was very angry with him for first stealing her mobile number then for reading her messages and thirdly for making her feel embarrassed in front of the people around. She decided to simply message her rather than a call. She texted him the topic name and waited for his reply but to her more shock he didn't reply. She waited and waited the whole night but he didn't reply. She got little worried thinking why he didn't reply. Then she thought he did it on purpose as he wants to try her patience so she let go the topic.
The next day when she came to college she was waiting for Arjun to come to discuss the topic but Arjun didn't turn up so she became more worried as to why hadn't he first replied her and then showed up to college. Arohi was restless thinking about him. As soon as she was out of college on the way home she called Arjun. He didn't pick up, she tried again but no luck. For the third time though he picked up the call but didn't even say hello.
"Hello!" Arohi
"What?" Arjun irritated.
"I messaged you about the project you didn't reply." Arohi
"So?" Arjun
"Is everything okay? You didn't turn up to college today." Arohi
"None of your business" Arjun very rudely
"But the project?" Arohi
"Do hell with it. Please stop bothering me" and he hung up.
"What was that?" Arohi thought to herself. He was not the usual Arjun. He was the reserved guy back. Arohi was worried and for the first time she wasn't angry on Arjun but worried for about his well being. She knew something was troubling him but couldn't relate anything.
She decided not to call again and continue with the project. The due date was after a week. The next day in the college Arjun was present but very quite. Arohi thought of leaving him alone with his thoughts and she continued with her work on the project. Days passed but there was no change in Arjun. He seemed depressed. In the mean time Arohi finished with the project. Priya kept on asking Arohi if they fought over something because of which he has become all over rude again. Arohi denied and told her not to speak about him and it is nothing to do with her. Finally project submission day arrived and professor told to submit the files in the staff room. Arjun had no clue what to say to professor. Now that Arjun came to his senses he was very nervous to speak to professor. He decided to keep quiet and when professor asks he thought he will come up with some alibi. Arjun was very sure Arohi was not going to help him in this matter as he was very rude to her so cancelled that option. During the last lecture professor came up with the project marks and all were waiting for eagerly. Professor read out the marks in reverse order from least to the top. Arjun knew what was coming for him and then professor said something which made Arjun stunned. "Arohi Arora and Arjun Sahay 50 on 50the best project."
Arjun dint know what to say he was too occupied to speak. He just looked at Arohi with a grateful expression and Arohi just smiled in return. He didn't knew what should he do. After being so rude to the girl yet she stands up for him and help him. He felt very guilty for his behavior. He decided to apologies to Arohi. While he was thinking of apologizing bell rang and all the students rushed out of the classroom. He couldn't see Arohi but he wanted to talk to her urgently. He can't stand more guilt. He rang her up the very instant.
"Hello" Arohi surprised
"Where are you?" Arjun worried
"In the corridor Why?" Arohi still surprised
"Can you please come to the classroom for a minute?" Arjun pleading
"Aaa!" Arohi hesitant
"Please just for a minute" Arjun literally begging
"Okay" and Arohi hung the phone.
Arohi was thinking what happened to Arjun all of a sudden that he decided to be so nice to her. She entered the classroom nervous and hesitant.
"What happened?" Arohi asked Arjun
"I think buy know you know I am a jerk right?" Arjun asked Arohi
"Huh! I mean what was that for? Khudki itni tariff?" Arohi said mockingly
"I behaved with you like a mutt and yet you go ahead and help me?" Arjun asked Arohi expecting an explanation from her.
"What's the big deal Arjun? You saved me from dying and I saved you from professors firing that's all. I knew you were disturbed and didn't want to bother you. So I did it myself as simple as that." Arohi replied casually
"Sorry." Arjun apologies
"For what?" Arohi confused.
"You know for what." Arjun
"Listen I forgot that phone hung up program the same day so don't torment yourself with any guilt but remember next time if we by chance do project together it will be you who is going to take all the responsibility and not me got it?" Arohi said almost bossy.
"Yes Miss Studious sure" Arjun agreed and a small grin spread his face.
"Okay then bye I think it's more than a minute and Priya is waiting for me outside." Arohi said looking at the watch.
"Oh! Sorry for the trouble and tell Priya I said sorry to her to make her wait." Arjun said politely.
"Doesn't matter but do you know you sound different today anyway bye" Arohi said smiling
She turned to go outside the classroom.
"Arohi "Arjun called her.
"Yes" Arohi turned back
"Thank you" still guilty.
"What I should say Arjun, in this case you are not welcome?" Arohi was laughing and Arjun just stared at her. She was looking so cute while she laughed and for the first time Arjun's eyes could be read that he was admiring Arohi.
"What?" Arohi asked Arjun dubiously
"Nothing cute smile and I thought you are a bookworm but I must say you are smart too. You shot my words back at me, indeed a smart move" Arjun said praising Arohi's act.
"Thank you and don't be sorry. Thank you chalega don't worry won't say you are not welcome but please mention not." Arohi answered him coolly
"Arohi one last question before you leave"
"Shoot"
"Can we be friends?" Arjun asked Arohi this time more hesitant. It was very clear that he was expecting a no but Arohi surprised him again.
"Was that a formality Arjun?"
"Sorry" said Arjun confused.
"You are expecting a No and asking me whether we could be friends don't you think it's ironic?" Arohi said smiling
"Now I guess you can read me too" said Arjun with amazement.
"A little I guess. Anyway of course we can be friends." Said Arohi and put her right hand forward.
Arjun also put his right hand forward within no time and they shake hands.
"Friends" said Arohi
"Friends" said Arjun.
