In the morning Piya woke-up in a very happy mood , but was shocked when she realized that she had missed the first lecture and was late for her second ; it was something that had never happened Piya had never missed any of her classes . She rushed up to bath and change for college but reached only for the third lecture . It was her favorite - Classic English by Miss. Supriya Saigal . This was her second day in Ms. Saigal's class and she found the class well packed . She took the forth row beside a girlie dressed loudly laughing girl . The moment she sat the other girl turned to her and shouted , "Ooh! New Girl . I've never seen you here , where are you from , I'm Ruhi and everyone know me as the most popular , most beautiful Tracker . You can ask me anything and i'm the one who knows all the answers-"
Ms. Saigal - " But you just fail to put them in your answer sheet right . Don't forget your a repeater Ruhi Juneja . And Piya you will be lucky if this girl leaves you alone . Everybody this is Piya Jaiswal a school and inter-college topper and Brockdale full scholarship winner ."
There was very less applause . Piya didn't want any appreciation but this was a bit surprising .
Ms. Saigal -" Oho Come On students.. the full scholarship is being won by any student after a decade ."
For this it looked like few students understood and clapped loudly and the class continued . According to the syllabus they will be working on William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet for the first 4 months . They had to first read the play to understand the 17th century's word styling , later see the 16's and 18's version plays' and present a thesis understanding , analyzing , classifying and comparing the various plays . Piya likes classic novels but she had never read a Shakespeare, she noted to pick the book from the library . The rest of the college was fine and in the lunch she met her economics and history professors to apologize for missing the class and they forgave her .
After her 5th class Piya thought of taking a round of the college before going to the library . She noticed that the college had more number of students than yesterday , more number of bikes and cars and more number of modeling girls and whistling boys . Piya herself received a few whistles from a group of boys and there was one guy who was stopping them , she didn't know who he was but thought of thanking him if ever they meet .
Piya reached the shadowed yard behind the college close to the jungle and saw two girls . One was short with dirty un-combed hair in baggy jeans and the other even from a distance looked like a fashion freak . When she got closer she knew who they were , the baggy jeans was Misha and the other was Tea or Tiya ; these were the names Piya heard more than 100 times in college . Misha was laughing loudly , enjoying seeing the other bounded badly who was struggling to hold her balance and eventually fell . Piya couldn't see this anymore , she walked to them -
T - "Misha , what are you looking at .. why don't you get down and help me ?'
Misha - "T , trust me darling you look more beautiful like this . Anyway I didn't do this and i know you don't need any help right . what did you say - 'T is a perfectionist , she never needs any help !'.."
Piya saw that it would be stupid to expect Misha to help T , so she just got-down and started untying the knot .
Misha - "Ohai! Madam Big Head Winner why don't you just mind your work and leave the little brainless bimbo to me ?"
Piya - "Look who ever you are , you can't do this ."
Piya untied the other girl and help her to stand . She swept her dress and hair and tried to stand but almost fell again , Piya caught her . Seeing this Misha made face .
Misha - "See Miss Perfectionist ! you need help even for standing . And looks like you have another tail in your butt ." Saying this she left .
T - "What no i don't need any help . And you Charity candidate stay away from me . God my dress , my hair i look such a mess !" and she also left .
Piya was shocked . One was bossing over a girl and the other screamed straight on her face just for helping her . She didn't know where she went wrong and leaving this she rushed to the library to pick the book . Piya spent the evening and the night trying to read the novel but kept repeating the same page , around mid-night she slipped to a very uncomfortable sleep .
Next morning Piya woke-up hours before sunrise and felt very impatient . Her whole day passed in a blur and in the evening she couldn't remember any minute of her morning . Piya was confused as such thing never happened to her . Throughout the night she tried to re-collect her life in day but failed .
Abhay and his family were traveling from Delhi to Dehradun . In two days he had crossed 3 continents to get to Dehradun . Drishti and Rhone left for Hawaii from Tibet and later moved to North America . After that Chand Haseena and Abhay reached Mexico crossing Cape Town and reached to Delhi from London . They had to travel only in the times of sun to avoid Salazar . Back in Dehradun the story was set , a Business family from London wished to return to mother land India and preferred to settle in Dehradun . In the new place they will be called Raichand , who had purchased the old house in north Dehradun closer to the mountains . Things were well planned , the story was set flawlessly and half of the assets of the city were now linked to the Raichands . Already the business sector of the city was waiting to have a look at them , the name was goggled which told the history of Chand Raichand from London . Chand Raichand a business tycoon from UK was born and bot-up in London but was strongly rooted to India by family and tradition . He belonged to the royal architectural and investment family from Delhi , he was married to an Indian girl from Kashmir - Haseena and was gifted with a handsome and talented son Abhay . Chand and Haseena had adopted a French girl as daughter and named her Drishti ( who was described as a beautiful Princess in the royal family ) , Rhone Haseena's nephew also lived with them after losing his parents in an accident .
In the past two days if Piya was sleep confused Abhay couldn't even blink his eyes , he felt like if he blinked he would lose it but didn't know what he would lose.. He felt an annoyance which was not at all because of the long travel , it was an impatience to reach to Dehradun . He didn't want to go there but neither could he stop himself from running to the place . He thought about his conversation with Drishti and Rhone before leaving Tibet .
Drishti - " Abhay be watchful when you reach Dehradun . Something is going to change in your life . I don't know what it is , i can't see it , for now your life looks like a super speed roller-coaster ride ... you move very swiftly and suddenly you disappear and i can't see you anymore . I didn't tell this to Chand , i feel its right not to tell him . But you be prepared , be careful ."
Rhone - " Ya brother a blind link is developing . I can't see from where or to whom but i strongly feel its gonna connect to you . You are going to connect to something . I don't know its good or bad but it will happen soon ."
For the first time in centuries they were hiding something from Chand . And it looked like to Abhay that the whole secret is around him . He didn't know what was coming , but he thought if its death i'm ready for it . He suddenly felt he was ready to die , but why ? He didn't have the answer .
Both are now in Dehradun . Impatient and confused . Uninformed and unprepared of the unknown power around them .
