OUR LIKES AND DISLIKES

In UK after DK's accident this was the second week of rona dhona.😭😭😭.All of the week was mostly based on DK coming to know the reality that he has been paralysed.Gargi was the main culprit behind this disclosure,and created a situation where DK heard her conversation with Suhas regarding this.Overall none of the episodes were bad...rather they were all ok....but collectively they were a drag.The story did not move at all,to a point that it started to be boring.

Ashish Nayyar as usual acted brilliantly...his expressions of sorrow,frustration ,anger and then acceptance were great.One thing I will comment on.....Rupu got him to do a lot of dramabazi related to the incident...Nahin ye nahin ho sakta!!Nahin mein apahaj nahin hoon....and so on.I always feel that Ashish Nayyar can convey better by his expressions rather than any words....these scenes would have had a better impact if he was given less to speak.But other than this he came up brilliantly.Rupu tried to cut a very sorry figure for him,by showing him very helpless and majboor....Rupuji this is not the DK we love ...we want him to be strong and move on with his life rather than just sitting helplessly on bed with a chadar put on his legs and brooding.

Overall Chavvi was good this week.She looked beautiful in her see through sarees.In terms of her performance she was alright....though I felt that in the scene when she comes to know about Vasuda's death...she could have performed better.Sometimes her expressions are great,but sometimes she doesnt come up to the mark in portraying them...but overall she was fine.

Gargi was as evil as ever...looked very pretty this week...her performance speaks for itself....nothing much to comment on.Not much of Ranu and Ved this week...thank God....Last night saw Ved giving a kind of bhashan to DK,asking him to face the situation and fight....he had a lot of praise for Disha.To me Ved no matter what he does or says...always looks evil.Sachin Tyagi cannot express his emotions at all....what he conveys is not what he is meant to feel in that particular scene.Abhi was good ,comes up very nicely with his feelings of guilt regarding DK's accident.The scene where he was shown to play chess with DK was good...the two of them seem to click well.

This week saw a few...rather very few sweet scenes between the 2 D'S.In Monday's episode where DK holds her hand and tells her that he is very lucky to have a wife like her,and in last night's episode where he apologises to her after his suicide attempt...DK came up with very good expressions....there was a lot. of sweetness ,love and sadness in his eyes.Disha gave him a couple of wheelchair hugs!!!!!!her inhibitions and reservations were apparent.She stood at a little distance from the wheelchair and bending over it,hugged him and touched his head.Considering the recent hungama I was surprised at any hugging no matter how hideous it may have been..so it seems that Rupu to some extent may have solved the problem within her team...hopefully.

In last night's episode they showed DK's birthday celebration.....seemed silly since he has had one not so long ago.The celebration was nice however.....Rupu could have shown their wedding aniversary instead.....but well DK looked very charming and Disha looked beautiful in her red saree...though I didn't like her hair style with side parting....she looks prettier with her centre parting and DK's sindoor that was definately missing.

On the whole.....very slow and dragging week.....it has taken Rupu 2 whole weeks to convey to him about the paralysis and then another 2 weeks for him to know that he cannot father a child.When the paralysis first came in I thought the idea was great but Rupu has not handled it well....she has dragged it too much...has taken away the spirit from DK to fight and has made TD extremely depressing.....whatever but yesterday the birthday celebration made me smile...wish Rupu would show us some happiness instead of tears all the time.

Yes Neelam when she was getting ready it was a different saree...that was good too.

Yes a chocolate cake...letter D and K.....was very mouthwatering.

Rupali did her ill famous drag again this week..
Acting wise was good but just can not tolerate DK as helpless and defeated...wanted to shake him and get him to the physiotherapist.

D looks nice in her sarees ...though the red dot on her fore head looks simply ridiculous...feel like removing it...she wore a chain around her waist like she used to previously...but her messed up hair look isn't right at all...
We were treated to D singing Happy Birthday ...but at the end why did she not sing happy birthday dear dK ?It is only acting ...pyar se Dear dK to bol sakti hei. 😆

hugs less said the better...she has a real problem with closeness 😕

another scene that was odd...was when Gargi tries to spill the beans to DK...D stops her and holds her arm to make her say differently...the way Gargi was acting as if she was really digging her finger into Gargi's arms..but disha was clearly just lightly holing her arm..it was so artificial...hilarious...Guess Chavi has problems with touching everyone 😕
I remembered the scene where DK had held D's arm tightly and left a mark...now that scene had an impact

I was so glad that DK caught the bappa idol which D threw away...I would have been very angry with Rupu if she had shown the idol breaking

Rupu should not ask AN to do theatrics on screen...does not suit him at all...he is much better off underplaying his role ...just with expressions.

Loved DK and Abhi sharing chess game ...and yesterday ...sharing champagne.

Vedant looked like a ghost yesterday ...lecturing DK.

Depressed with TD...and my heart sinks because it is going to get more depressing next 2 Weeks.

Only 2 more depressing weeks Mona....that is great news...TD seems a life long torture at the moment.

Great analysis as usual Parveen. This week was with lots of rona dhona as expected but especially the last two episodes were very nice with nice expressions by AN and Chhavi as well. I dont know why but for the first time in this serial so far I liked Vedant when he was giving that bhaashan to DK.😆

AN gave nice expressions and I agree with others here that he doesnt need those dramatic dialogues to express anger, rage and frustation. Surprisingly enough Chhavi is still giving hugs anyway good for us.😆😆 Well how natural or unnatural they look, is a different issue. She looked pretty in these sarees and I also noticed that she wore a yellow with pink contrast coloured saree and had dark pink afterwards. That hairstyle was not suiting her. Not to forget Abhi, he was fantastic and he and DK shares a good chemistry.

On the whole a nice week.

Yes , Mayadi Abhi was very good...both when he was berating DK for being a coward and also later on boxing to take out his frustration and guilt...liked him a lot ...would like him better if Rupu was not chasing this stupid plot of hooking him with Disha 😡
