So Leslie Lewis finally admitted what we all suspected he felt. He doesn't want the jodis to behave like the old Saregamapa performers. They used to stand in one position and sing. Which is the old-fashioned way to go, according to Pandit Leslie Peters Lewis. Now anyone who doesn't dance around and use the whole stage is out. Welcome to the new SRGMP, people. 😆😆😆

They might as well get people from rhythmic gymnastics yaar... They will orchestrate their movements over the stage so well, to a soothing background music.. So, we will not loose the complete musical touch and yet it will be lot more pleasing for the eyes and mind 😃

ok sab log ... this is like an announcement ... if the jodis do not utilize the stage to much, walk around each other too much or even move their body too much ..in layman's words dont just move your lips move your entire parts kinda stuff...then as per mr.leslie that is it for u ... no wonder despite singing exceptionally Sharib / Banjo can't get past that 5 star EMAET rating... 😕

Honestly I am not suprised by this at all.

This show isn't about singing what so ever. He degraded BS for not being coordinated in their preformance despite singing alot better than the other Jodis. TV werent the best singing jodi that day but their preformace was really good and as per LL logic they are the best jodi.

Yes, I guess it is official now.

On May 12th, BS did sing the best even though Banjyotsna seemed very uncomfortable in the second song. And TV were really so-so.

I think that Jaya's suggestion is a really good one, and perhaps the producers can make the switch formally and change all the marketing as well!

We will look for another music contest to follow.

I think it is high time for Mr. LL to give us a demo of how to use the 'whooooole' stage at his disposal, while singing say 'Jiya dhadak dhadak'.

If they only want performance, why not use some extras in the background like they do in Indian Idol? Why make these genuine singers die for want of breath?
