Looking at the charts, in spite of the caliber that Manasi Parekh has, she has already proved herself to be a versatile actress in this one show where she had a large canvas with a lots of shades to her character but she is on a much lower rank as compared to so many plastic faced and monotone actresses (no offense meant) as far as acting is concerned. Why is she so low on the ranking? Is it the way her character is being projected. She is a portraying a character of a strong woman who likes to do things her way. She has aims and objectives in life. She has been living for others. She wants to make her own decisions and even for the people in her life, thinking what would be best for them. She does not like to be pushed around or get things imposed on her. She does not like to consult elders, or anyone for that matter, before making decisions. She does what she thinks is good/right. She is too independent. Such a character should be idealistically liked by the younger generation. There is a lot of Gulaal in everyone of us. We all want to be as independent as her. But why is it not hitting the charts?

1. Is it just because she is not accepting Kesar's love? or she has no love life? She is avoiding it by defelecting it towards Talli?

2. Is she too independent?

3. Is she Too Self-Centered lately?

4. Is her character far from reality?

And what should CVs do let her gain popularity?

I think the main problem with gulaal is that she's not doing "SASU MA SASU MA" all d time. Manasi's acting is far more better than most of the leading ladies of sp but the main issue is that she has not been projected like a poor kismat ki mari bechari lady😭 so as in case of most of the audiences they couldn't connect with her. 😡

I think most of viewers like plastic face and monotone actresses for gossip i.e., what they are wearing & jewellery stuff or kitchen politics but not independent stuff.

As you mentioned that we do have independent streak in us, but her character may be too much to be far from reality. Therefore she needs to check in reality surrounding her.

😊 Itta gussa!! She is suffering at the hands of fate. Husband died within first month of marriage, Dushyant tried to rape her, She is hiding her husband's murderer's name, She is expected to accept Kesar as her husband, Entire family is now holding her responsible for her decisions, deeyar-vatoo and talli's marriage with Kesar. MotaBha also not happy with her decision to break deeyar-vatoo. Itnay dukh to hain bechari ke paas. JK and Sudha are already against her.

MotaBha! MotaBha, Jamna Kaki, Sudha Bhabi, PaanBa.. sab hi toh karti hai.

You want her to be more miserable?

Ab uss ke haath paon thod ke bistar par daal dein kya?

What should CVs do to make her character popular?

I agree to u all. I also wonder why. I think most in IF likes plastic face. I am also silent reader but sometime I comment. I hate Saas Bahoo shows.

Haan...i feel the same,except for 2-3 actresses,the leading ladies of sp just cant act.Some cant bring any expression to their faces while others overdo...aur sab wah wah karte hein.Manasi is far ahead of them as far as acting is concerned...popularity is in the hands of such stupid people tho,accha yehi hai ki she's not that popular 😡

i think we shouldn't care yaar koi aapreciate kare na kare hum to gullu fan hain na yaar👍🏼, i think there's another problem that most of the fans are not IF members.
