The jailor of Bharuch informs Balbhadra, the general of Bharuch's army that Pranlal was pretending to be dumb. Balbhadra states that sooner or later the jailor would force Pranlal to reveal the truth.
A wicked Bhanuman tells Indumati that their plan failed because of Shobhna and her comrades. Bhanuman assures Indumati that he teach Shobhna a lesson.
Shobhna enters the chamber at that time much to the duo's surprise. Fearing that Shobhna may have overheard their conversation; Indumati sweet talks her into revealing what she heard. She is relieved to know that Shobhna had no clue about their conversation.
Bhanuman orders his men to kill Pranlal if tries to reveal the truth.
