Chapter 3

Morning

"I am leaving", Geet said as she took the lunch box from the table and moved out.

"Hey Geet!" Sheila and radz shrieked to stop her and wait for them.

"Hey Sheila, hi radz" she said while slowing her pace but not stopping. "How was ur day yest?.. Umm… I mean you went for a walk with Rohan na…." she asked Sheila with a wink.

"Ohh! The walk was so romantic." Sheila said blushing. "You… he is just so romantic."

"Hmm…." Geet looked at radz making a face. She didn't know if it was right to have such relationships in their age. "But don't you think he is bit older than you? I mean he is 19 yar."

"ohh!... Geet…. Its good yar.. I mean.. its just too common… and he is only 5 yrs elder to me…. And I like older guys... I mean they are more experienced…" she said with a wink in response to which Geet and radz chuckled.

"Umm… may be.." she shrugged the thoughts.

"Hey Yash", Geet shrieked and greeted the guy with a smile. Who were just few steps ahead of them.

"Hey Geet", Yash replied with a smile, and then he looked at Sheila and radz and smiled politely to them saying a silent hello.

They reached their class… they all were in same sections. The day went well. But at the same time it was tiring. It was declared that next two days will b holiday as bigger classes were having exams. And school ended.

The public library was just attached to the building of the school.

After school Geet went to the library without informing anyone that she was going there. But it was closed. Then she went to Mrs. Taneja, who was sitting in the cabin next to the library.

Geet and Mrs. Taneja shred a very friendly bond, the prime reason being Geet was a regular visitor.

"Mrs. Taneja" Geet softly addressed her who was sitting on her computer and seemed to be really busy.

"Aah Geet… its you… yes come in." she said with a smile.

Mrs. Taneja was a woman of early 20's. Not more than 25. She was extremely polite in talking. And in appearance she was very pretty.

"Ma'am … can you please me in something please." Get said pleading.

"Hmm…. If its about one more mishap you created or are going to create with your naughty friends then… I am sorry… I m really busy." She replied smiling.

"No .. Ma'am…nothing like that… its just I want you to open the library … I need to issue one book." She said pleading.

"Ohh … okay… which one?" Mrs. Taneja asked.

Geet showed her the slip on which name of the book was written. Mrs. Taneja brought the book and issued it. Then she took out the issue card from the book and wrote the name and date. But while she was keeping it back… Geet snapped it from her hand and looked at it unbelievingly.

"What happened?" Mrs. Taneja asked Geet in confusion looking at her shocked face.

"This cannot be possible… its HIM… its him again…" Geet gasped as this info sank into her brain.

"Who..? What? Whom are you talking about?" Mrs. Taneja was shocked by get's behavior. She had not seen her act so weird till now.

"Ma'am" she pointed towards the issue card... "Ma'am this… who is this guy?" she finally asked.

"Who" Mrs. Taneja looked at the name Geet was pointing at. It read "Maan Singh Khurana." She read it aloud.

"Why are you asking about him" Mrs. Taneja asked confused.

"Ma'am… please tell me who is he" Geet asked pleadingly.

"Geet" she said keeping her hand on her shoulder," you should ask about him to Mr. Kapoor. I think he knows this guy. But I still don't understand why are u asking about him?"

"no …Ma'am… nothing… I am just curious to know… you know… every book I read is read by this guy also…. He has read almost all the books which I issue. So I was just wondering who this guy actually is." Geet said.

Ohh.. Okay…" Mrs. Taneja said.

Then Geet moved out of the library and collided with some one.
