hey guys so here's part 10.
before i start this part, i want to confess something that Gurmeet Choudhary is my inspiration for Vicky's character. i hope after knowing this, u guys can tolerate vicky now as there's a very important scene of vicky in this update which is gonna influence the story a lot.
plz bear with me in vicky's scene guys. i tried to edit it as much as i can..

Recap:

Geet holds Maan's arm with both her hands and says confidently with a sweet smile "I'm his WIFE!"

Maan and Dadima both looks at Geet shocked and both say at the same time "WHATTT???!!!"

Part 10

Maan looks at Geet shocked. He couldn't believe his ears.

Maan thinks in his mind 'What is she talking about! How dare she?' and shock turns into anger.

Maan looks at geet angrily throwing daggers at her with his eyes, which geet responded just with a smile.

Her smile made him more angry.

"But how...when did all this happen?" Maan hears Dadima asking.

He looks at Dadima and Dadima asks him confusedly "Maan?"

Maan says "Dadima, there's nothing---"

Geet didn't let him finish and says with a smile "Just few days ago Dadima." Maan gives geet an angry look "Actually everything happened very fast." Geet gives Maan a taunting smile.

Maan whispers angrily near Geet's ear "geet, what are you doing?"

Geet whispers back faking innocence"What am I doing? You were the one who said few minutes ago that I'm your wife." She said with the same taunting smile and continues loudly looking at him.

"We didn't get time to tell anybody. Right Maan?" geet was really enjoying herself looking at Maan's expressions.

Maan was surprised at her guts.

Geet in her mind says 'ab pata chalega tumhein ki Geet Handa se takraane ka kya anjaam hota hai!' [now u'll understand the result of messing up with geet Handa]

Maan in his mind says 'you don't know what you're getting yourself into miss. Geet Handa. You are gonna regret this decision so bad!'

Maan puts his hand on Geet's back and smiles and says to Dadima "yes Dadima, actually it all happened very fast."

Geet's smile vanished. Now it was Geet's turn to get shocked.

This wasn't what she was expecting. She tries to free herself from his arm that was on her back but he was a lot stronger than her and he didn't budge a bit.

"We wanted to tell you but we were waiting because of dad's barsi. We thought we would tell you after that." Maan finished with a smile.

Geet was continuously trying to free herself slowly with her one hand so that Dadima doesn't notice her action, but Maan didn't leave her.

Dadima said "Maan, I'm very upset with you. You got married and you didn't even tell me!"

Maan gives a sorry face and Dadima looks around and says

"We'll talk about this after reaching home. Right now, aap inka bill karwa lijiye" she hands him the stuff of puja "hum ghar jaayenge." She finished strictly.

Maan nods and says "Jee."

And Dadima goes from there.

As soon as Dadima leaves, geet pushes Maan away and frees herself from his grip.

Geet looks at him angrily and Maan says with a smile "So, Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana" he stresses the word 'Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana' "Chalein?" [shall we?]

Geet says angrily "How dare you tell her that I'm your wife?"

Maan says with a smile "Well I didn't tell her, you did!"

Geet says "What do you think of yourself? Do you think that just because you told your Dadima that we are married, that I will go with you?"

Geet says with a mockery smile "Oh no no Mr. Maan Singh Khurana! You don't realise how big mistake you have made!"

Maan was looking at her with amused expression.

She continues "I'm not going anywhere with you. And if you are thinking that I'm in a problem over here, then you are mistaken. Because she is your Dadima! You have to answer her, not me! You get that!! This was just a small trailer to tell you the consequences of messing up with Geet Handa! Next time think about 100 times before crossing my way!!"

"Tum kitna bolti ho!!!" Maan said with the same amused expression "Thakti nahin ho kya?!" [how much u talk! Don't u get tired]

His taunt made her more angry. She was expecting him to be angry, to be frustrated, or more precisely to beg her for help to clear everything in front of his grandmother.

But his calm behaviour was something she hasn't expected.

She said angrily "You think you're funny?!"

Maan expressions changes to seriousness and he says "miss Geet Handa, you have no idea what you have gotten yourself into. Till now I was being lenient to you...but now the war is on... so just watch your back!!!" there was no anger in his voice or on his face. But there was something in his voice that gave goose bumps to geet in fear.

He continues "Your this little so-called act of revenge is gonna cost you a lot. You are here for one month right?"

Geet looks at him shocked and thinks 'how the hell he knows that! Is he spying on me?!!!!'

She gulps down the saliva in fear which was not missed by Maan

Maan smiles evilly and says "I promise you that you'll never forget this one month for the rest of your life."

The threat in his voice ticked the anger in geet.

She narrows her eyes and says "Are you threatening me?"

Maan says with a smile "No sweetheart! I'm warning you. And consider this your last warning. Kiyunki iske baad, tumhein seedha vaar milega! Maan Singh Khurana se jeetna itna aasaan nahin hai"

"Fine. I accept your challenge. But let me tell you that you might be used to winning every war, but you haven't come across Geet Handa till today! Tumhaara har vaar tumhi par bhaari padega. Just like today!" she finishes with a victorious smile.

"You dared to call me your wife? Now go explain it to your Dadima!!"

Maan says "Do you seriously think that you have won today?!" he fakes a little laugh and says "miss. Geet Handa, I'm gonna tell Dadima the truth and I'll come out clean. Dadima knows that how low some girls can stoop to come close to me!" he looks at geet from top to bottom at 'some girls'.

He says with a serious intensity "And as for you! Bohat shauq hai na tumhein meri biwi ban-ne ka? To ab tum sach mein meri biwi banogi!!!!" [u wanted to b my wife? Now u will be in real!!!]

Geet is shocked at his words and she says "Whattt????"

Geet couldn't understand whether he was proposing her or challenging her. And then she decides on the second option. He was definitely challenging her.

"Yeah! You heard me right sweetheart. You are gonna be my wife." Maan says with a smirk.

Geet laughs tauntingly and says "Good joke Maan!"

She had laughed to make Maan angry but to her surprise, Maan didn't got angry, neither he said anything. He just stood there looking at geet with serious expression waiting for her to finish her laugh.

When he didn't react to her, she stopped laughing and said narrowing her eyes little

"That is never gonna happen Maan!"

Maan says with the same smirk "I haven't asked for your permission Geet! By the end of this month, you will be my wife. And that's a challenge!!!"

Geet says "Alright Maan, I accept the challenge!"

Both of them shakes hands to finalise the challenge.

And geet continues "even I would love to see how you'll marry me without my permission."

"Don't worry sweetheart, you will see!!" he said flirtatiously.

Just then Vicky sees geet over there and he runs towards her.

He calls out "Geet." Maan and Geet looks at Vicky. Vicky hasn't noticed Maan over there and he says "Geet where were you? I was looking for you everywhere."

He then sees Maan and says "Maan?"

Maan looks at Vicky with suspicion and then at geet.

Vicky asks him "What are you doing here?"

"Well that's not a question right now." Maan says looking at Vicky "the question is what are you doing here?" Maan gives a suspicious look to geet then back to Vicky.

Vicky says with controlled irritation guessing what Maan meant "I came here for shopping."

Maan says with amused expression "Hmmm... with Geet? Looks like you guys have become very deep friends in just couple of days!"

Geet narrows her eyes at Maan's remark. She was gonna retort back when Vicky said frustratingly

"Look Maan, I'm in a hurry ok. I'll talk to you later."

Geet felt negative vibes coming from both of them. It looked like they can't even stand each other's very sight. Geet was thinking this when

Vicky asks geet "Did you find any dress?" there was still frustration visible in his voice.

Maan picks up his eyebrows on Vicky's question.

"Yes" geet gave him the dress that she has kept on the nearby rack.

Vicky leaves to the checkout to buy the dress.

Geet was standing there still confused at the behaviour of both brothers when she heard Maan saying "Geet" she looks up and saw him standing close to her and he said in a playful voice

"Now that you are gonna be my wife soon, there's a little piece of advice which I think you need badly."

Maan saw Geet's expressions turning to anger on his words 'my wife' and he enjoyed that a lot.

And he continues "Stay away from Vicky. He's not a good friend for you."

Geet's temper was rising with his little flirtatious comment. So even when she felt seriousness in his warning, she ignored it and retorted back

"Firstly, I'm not gonna be your wife. And secondly, I don't need your advice. I know what is good and what's bad for me." She eyed him from top to bottom disgustingly at the word 'bad'.

And then she leaves from there...

Geet and Vicky goes out and Vicky says trying to change the mood "So where would you like to go now?"

Geet says feeling tired "sorry Vicky, I think I'll go home now. It has truly been a long day today."

"Ok." And Vicky drops her home.

NEXT DAY

{guys i'm writing the some dialogues in hindi bcoz i think hindi would have more impact in those dialogues than english. i tried to translate in english as much as i can}

When geet reaches Khurana arts, everybody has already started working on their next show, which was scheduled to be in 15 days.

As usual Vicky was directing it.

Vicky was in a very bad mood. Geet has never seen Vicky shouting at the actors like this. It was a different case that geet has been there for just 2 days, but she thought she knew him after last night.

Maya tells geet that Vicky is always in a bad mood in the initial days of rehearsals of any new show as he wants every scene to be perfect.

Suddenly geet hears Vicky screaming at the actors.

"how many times I have to tell you, bring the expressions on your face. Look sad goddamit! You are seeing the love of your life for the last time, and you should have that pain and sorrow in your eyes! Lets do it one more time."

The actors did the scene once again and geet personally thought that it was pretty good.

But it was not good enough for Vicky!

Vicky again screams "No no no! you are doing it completely wrong. You are looking like you are relieved by leaving your girlfriend! You have to look sad Yash. Wait I'll show you."

He looks around for a partner and sees geet standing few feet away from him.

He says "Geet can you come here please."

Geet goes there and he asks her to be his partner in the scene so he can give a demo to the actors, and geet agrees.

Vicky starts the scene while looking deep into Geet's eyes.

"Sab kuch khatam ho gaya Geet, sab kuch khatam ho gaya." There was pain in his eyes, his face and his voice. [everything is finished geet, everything is finished]

When geet first looked at his expression, the only thought that came to her mind was 'wow! He is good.'

He continues "kal ka din meri zindagi ka aakhiri din hoga. Main tumhare bina nahin ji sakta hoon geet." [tomoro is gonna be the last day of my life. I cant live without u]

At this point, geet make a mistake of looking into his eyes. Those deep black eyes that has only one emotion in them. Pain.

"Marne ke baad bhagwaan se puchhoonga zaroor, ke usne meri zindagi mein hi imtihaan kiyun likhe? Kiyun mujhe hi mera pyaar nahin mila?" [after death, I will ask god y I dint get my love]

Geet was drowning in his eyes. She was feeling his pain. She wanted to soothe him. She wanted to tell him that she was here. She will always be here with him.

Vicky's eyes started brimming with unshed tears and he continued

"Kal tum hamesha hamesha ke liye kisi aur ki ho jaaogi." [tomoro u will be someone else's]

Geet's eyes started brimming with tears of vicky's pain. She wanted to hug him tight and never let go.

Vicky touches geet's cheek gently with his hand

"Kal tum par kisi aur ka haq hoga. Aur main...maut ke andheron mein kahin kho jaoonga." [tomoro someone else will have right on u. And I, will be lost in the darkness of death]

Geet's vision was blurred with tears. She closed her eyes and the tears rolled down. She again opened her eyes looking into Vicky's eyes.

Vicky wipes the tears from her cheeks and continues

"par tumhein mujhse ek wada karna hoga geet. Karogi naa?" [but u have to make a promise to me. Will u?]

Geet felt choked due to tears and she nods in a 'no'

"Please!" his voice begged her.

Geet didn't say anything but the silent tears rolled down from her eyes

"Wada karo ke tum kabhi nahin ro-ogi." While tears flow from vicky's eyes. [promise me u would never cry]

Geet felt like crying loudly but she remained mum.

"Tum jaanti ho na, ke main sab kuch bardaasht kar sakta hoon, par tumhari aankhon mein aansu bardasht nahin kar sakta..." [u know that I can tolerate anything, but I cant tolerate tears in your eyes]

And geet broke down and hugged him tight crying.

And everybody gave a standing ovation to their performance.

Well, it was a performance for Vicky, but not for geet!

Geet has been got so engrossed into vicky's eyes, that she has forgotten that it was all an act.

They heard everyone clapping, and geet realised that she has flown into the scene too deep.

She leaves Vicky instantly a bit embarrassed at herself.

Vicky asks her "Geet are you OK?"

Geet looks at him and nods a yes with a pathetic attempt of smile.

Vicky takes geet into a side hug and squeeze her a little and says "Sorry, I got a little carried away" he smiles sweetly at her.

Geet looks at Vicky with a deep expression. Last 10 minutes have changed everything for her.

For the first time in her life, she has felt pain for someone else. She has felt that she is gonna loose not only him, but her entire life.

In those 10 minutes, Vicky and geet were one for her. She had felt that her love, life, world, meaning, everything was coming to an end...

Vicky saw geet looking at him with intense eyes, and he asks "What happened?"

Geet looks down realizing that she was looking at him and says with a shy smile "Nothing."

Geet felt herself blushing.

Geet couldn't believe that she was actually blushing.

She almost ran inside to control her rebellious emotions. She had a crazy feeling in her stomach which was making her nervous and restless.

Maybe this was what is called butterflies in stomach! She couldn't believe that she, Geet Handa, is blushing because of some guy!!!

Geet has never felt like this for a guy before. No doubt she has dated a lot of guys but she has never had butterflies for any...

She got goose bumps remembering the effect of Vicky on her when he was saying the dialogue.

It took her a lot of time to control herself and to decide that she is gonna talk about this to Vicky. After all she is Geet Handa. She is not like some of those shy girls who wait for the guy to make the first move. She will ask him out.

Forcing herself she went outside determined to talk to Vicky. But he was nowhere to be seen.

She asked vivek, who tells her that Vicky had got an important call and he said that he will be back in half an hour.

Geet felt a bit relieved as well as tensed at the same time.

Relieved that now she'll get more time to prepare herself that how she's gonna ask him out; and tensed because she has to go through the tension for another half an hour more.

Well, still she waited...

Half an hour turned into one hour. One hour turned into two hours. And then it has been 5 hours since Vicky has left.

Now geet was getting worried.

At last she decides to call him. She tried calling him but there was no signal inside, so she went outside to make the call.

She was going outside while looking at her phone screen and as she reached the door, she bumps into someone and lost her balance.

Suddenly two strong arms holds her and saves her from falling. After coming out of the shock of fall, she looks at the face of her saviour.

'No, not again!!!' she said in her mind frustratingly.

Maan Singh Khurana was bending onto her, holding her with both hands to save her from falling on her back.

Maan says with a sexy smile

"Girna tumhara shauq hai, ya tum jaan boojh kar mujhe dekh kar girti ho?" [is falling ur habit, or u fall on purpose when u see me?]

And he makes her stands up.

"What are you doing here Maan?" she asks him frustrated, clearly doesn't want to get into any other kind of conversation with him.

"Maan nahin, Maan sir" he stresses the word 'sir' "Aaj se main yahaan ka boss hoon!!!"

{i know guys the scene with vicky had all filmy dialogues and u might be thinking that how can geet fall for those dialogues! but its not the dialogues that touched her, it was his expressions}
