Part 34

Maan held her hand & gave her an assuring look. They both together put their foot forward when a rough voice stopped them. It was daarji. Ruk jaa Geet.
She was dumb struck. Why was he stopping her, her daughter, her life, he was the one who had always loved her so much. Why wud he stop me to enter my house. Strange thoughts lingered her mind.

His grip tightened. She looked at him. He assured her his eyes saying everything to her that he was there with her. Even if anything will go wrong he is there with her.
Daarji.. she could not say anything else..
Daarji: Mat bula mujhe daarji geet
Geet: Daarji ye aap kya keh rahe ho.. mai
Daarji: Geet.. tujhe ye haq kabhi tha hi nahi agar mujhe pehle sach ka pata hota to mai tujhe kabhi is ghar me hi nahi rehne deta.
Her heart ached with his harsh words. how cud he say that. mujhe is ghar me nahi rehne dete matlab. babaji ye kya kar rahe ho aap mere sath.
Geet: Daarji.. aisa kyaa ho gaya jo aap
Daarji: Geet.. tu to sab janti thi naa to mujhse kyun puch rahi hai
Geet: Darji aap kis bare me baat kar rahe ho
He laughed at her.. Tujhe nahi pata. Geet tune itna sab kar diya aur tu keh rahi hai tujhe nahi pata.
She could not take even a word of him. Ye ho kyaa raha hai she wondered.

Just then his gaze went on Maan. Ye kaun hai??
She held his hand tight scared of how will everyone react seeing maan.. waise to sab mujhe bahut pyaar karte hain wo samaj jayenge but daarji.. kyaa huya hai jo wo mere sath aise.
Maan was abt to speak when Brij came there.

He hugged her Kaisi hai gudiya??
Geet: mai bilkul theek hun veerji aur aap. Before she cud complete Daarji pulled brij back. Brij.. ye kyaa kar raha hai tu
Brij smiled & said with a determination on his face. Daarji.. ye meri behen hai aur ise pura haq hai apne ghar me apne parivar ke sath rehne ka.
He knew daarji cud never say him no & thats what happ. Brij looked towards her & said: Chal gudiya. aap bhi aa jayiye.. ur name??
She replied with a blush on her face. Veerji ye maan. Her heart pounded out when she said his name. she had never felt this. Even voicing his name cud do this to her!!

Brij took Geet & Maan to her room. Geet was surprised. Not a single place was out from its place. a tear escaped her eye. She hugged Brij sideways. Veerji
He hugged her back. Gudiya.. how can I ever remove ur only memories. Tu nahi to yahi sahi.
Geet had a proud smile on her face. Veerji aap har raat ko mere room me akar in sab cheezo se.. meri yaadon se baatein karte the naa.
Brij: Gudiya.. tu to sab janti hai.
Geet hugged him yet again. So to hai.. akhir behen kiski hun.

Maan's eyes watered seeing their love his concern for her. He realized how difficult it must be for Geet to leave her family & go far away from them.

Brij teasingly looked at Geet. Geet.. yeh maan.. hain kaun??
Maan smiled inwardly. Chalo.. abb isse bolna hi padega.
Geet looked at him for help & he gave her a look saying plz tum hi kaho.
Geet shuttered while saying. Veerji wo.. wo maan.. maan.. wo
Brij: Maan.. tera prince charming??
Geet could not control herself she just laughed out.. Prince charming.. she laughed even more.
Maan gave her an angry look. Geet ignored it & looked at Brij. Veerji.. ye prince charming to nahi hain.. but.. but wo.. Phas gayi naa geet she wondered.. abb kyaa kahun.. veerji se to sach keh sakti hun.. but how.
Brij smiled at her plight. Gudiya.. mai mazak kar raha tha. mai samajta hun ki maan & u.. u know naa what I mean. He tried to run from there bcoz he knew she will not spare him now.
He ran & she ran behind him like a cat catching a mouse. They messed up the whole room just in 10 mins. Maan cud not do anything but fall for her cute gestures all over again.

Brij tried to run out of the room Geet ran behing him. But her badluck.. she bumbed into thaiji. She gave an angry glare to her. Geet knew that thaiji usually gets angry on such things. But never ever have she got angry on her. she was her cutty pie which had insisted her to call her infront of her friends to show that her family knew english.. she laughed at her sillyness & just hugged thaiji. But least expected.. she pulled out of the hug & just left from there.

What she had almost forgotton she made her mind to linger on that again. Maan cud sense that something was really wrong here. Was it related with her past that had always made her eyes teary. What was it. He needs to know.

Really sorry guys for a late update. My school started today so me really busy. But from now on I'll make sure I update regularly. Maybe a short update only. but will defo update at this time only. Hope u all will understand.
