What other social issues?

Till now we have seen Rihhaee covering serious issues like rape, dowry, drug trafficking, stalking, sexual harassement etc. Which other issues do you think should be shown in Rihhaee?

I would like to see a show about female infanticide. Still in many parts of India, women are blamed for delivering female babies which leads to killing of female babies and sometimes even mothers and men remarry to get a son to keep the name of the family. They should show that women only have XX chromosome and it is upto men's X or Y chromosome which decides whether the future kid be a boy or girl.

The next issue is about family name. If you ask the same people to recall their great grandfather's name, very few probably can. Then what family name are they talking about when they themselves can't remember their forefathers?

That would be nice if they show these issues in Rihaaee.

Other issue:Abuse of female child by the people who are close to that child may be neighbours or family members.They should show this because this happens every where in such a manner even that child also sometimes doesn't comes to know that it has been a victim of abuse.

charu_81, That is a very important issue because 90% of sexual abuse happens to girls from known people.

This issue was shown in the 'Kkusum's Kali case' where that girl had a alcoholic father and her neighbor was very nice to her mother and her but he later abused her and she fell from the building. I couldn't see the second part.

Eating disorders, maybe. Its a serious issue and affects many women all over the world. Its not in the same category as rape, drug trafficking and extra-martial affairs though.

Female infanticide is a good issue to tackle. Its sad that people still prefer a son over a daughter. Some things never change.
