Hetal may be selfish, Ambaji should know her daughter better, every mother knows their children's nature, good points and bad points, it is stupid that she believes everything Hetal is telling her.

Ambaji never ever believes everything Mona tells her, she calls her liers and abuses her, when Mona is right and is telling the truth. Now she turns around and believes everything Hetal tells her. Hetal is telling her Karan is being abused, Ambaji should tell her let Karan and his family hash it out,
Ambaji herself insults and abuses Anu all the time and gives him silent treatement. If it was Ambaji's car and Anu had an accident and hid from her, she would be livid.

I have no respect left for Ambaji's character, she is self serving and unilaterally decides what everybody should with their things and money and forces her decisions on them.

Her daughters are her responsibility she should tell Hetal that her father cannot afford dowry and she will take to the elders of Bedi family..this is a serious matter.

there is a difference b/w daughter and daughter in law. as a mom, you'd think why would my own child lie to me.
DIL - is someone she hasn't known for a long time...so mona will never get that benefit of doubt. it's sad but true.
ambaji's character would like you to believe she always respects elders and takes their opinion. i haven't seen her doing that very much. whether it's the decision of throwing bejal out or this car thing...she's made the decision all by herself.
it's either her way or the highway.

Mona as a DIL should also keep this in mind..

By the same token DIL has only known her mother in law for a short time and she has not brought her up therefore she should never ever think she can take place of her mom.

It is stupid of Mona to give Ambaji so much importance and react to her every mood. Mona should leave Anu, Hetal and Sejal to react to Ambaji's body language, she should totally ignore the silent messages of anger Ambaji tries to convey. Mona should have try having close relationship with her mom and her family.

I am just thinking may be this is Ambaji 's way of testing out Hetal and her claims. Just a thought. Anukalp's dad already doubts Hetal's claim

Absolutely. I do not understand Mona's need to bend over backwards for Bharti. What has Bharti done to deserve such exceptional treatment from Mona that she tries to make her happy all the time. I think it's important to assert to Bharti and Hetal that everyone's happiness matters and should have equal importance.
Anukalp reacted very realistically about not giving up his dream. That was awesome! I mean that's how we'd react right? But he'll have to give in because he doesnt want to disappoint his mom.
