Kareena to miss Cannes for Rockstars

Kareena Kapoor won't attend the forthcoming Cannes film festival because she is busy with the ongoing Rockstars world tour.
Just last week, Kareena and her beau Shahid Kapur flew from Mumbai to the US to join other Bollywood stars for Rockstars concerts. They performed in the concert held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, last weekend.
On the other hand, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has plans to promote his forthcoming movie Omkara (yes, the movie's title has now been finalized) at the Cannes Film Fest in France.
'Omkara' is Bhardwaj's adaptation of Shakespeare's Othello. The movie has Ajay Devgan playing the title role. Saif Ali Khan plays Langda Tyagi, a shabby, shrewd and scheming man. Kareena plays Dolly (akin to Desdemona) and Vivek Oberoi plays Kesu (akin to Cassius).
'Omkara' is presently in the post-production stages.
Kareena says while she is disappointed at not being able to visit Cannes to promote the movie, she says she is equally excited about Rockstars.
Meanwhile, this month would see more Rockstars concerts in parts of US, Canada and UK.
