Aamir Khan @ Cambridge Univ. - 2005 Visit

I've uploaded this old snap rather reluctantly as part of the "I've been tagged" scheme whereby someone "tags" you and then you have to select the 5th photo folder in your computer and then select the 5th photo from it. You turn into a frog if you don't play. Allegedly:-)

Aamir had been invited to Cambridge by a newly formed student film society. I was early and had some time alone with him to talk about his (then) latest "period" film "The Rising" based on the 1857 Indian Mutiny or Rebellion (or War of Indepenence, if you like). I was most impressed with him and felt that he could easily fit into an academic career should he wish to give up Bollywood:-)
