I agree. It only happens in Indian shows. One thing I don't like about the whole thing is how they show Indian women in these shows. So degrading. First of all almost no one works. They stay home and listen to all te crap from saas and Pati parmeshvar. What the hell? Are they trying to brain wash all the women? I personally have heard comments from my uncles when they are watching these shows ," see that's why we don't tell you women everything because you can't keep a secret?"

Also kavery being from such a high mighty family, I am surprised that she doesn't work or she doesn't have her own shop. I will go insane If I were to walk around in heavy saris and just plot against all the people. A very hectic job 😆

I think everyone knows. but this happenes in all shows. all the vixens stays til the end then they either die or change. Besides they need a conflic or show will not work.

😆 Miserable job, that. But most vamps do nothing else. Wear blouses
that reveal more than they conceal, dress in saris that weigh more than
themselves and plot for everyone's downfall!

I agree 100%. WOmen are shown in very poor light. Why can't they show a woman working and having her life too - that would be normal. I would get dead bored too if I were to just wear heavy makeup and saris..

in may 8th, US episode samar is talking to kaveri about divorce... they just dropped the topic in middle & moved on, & kaveri still the same, now creating problem about the cupboard keys......

I guess the reason for the way women character's (good / bad) are because for most of the soaps, the tergetted audiences are Women. One side they show how women should be Understanding, sacrifising, take care of the house hold sometime very good at work (like Disha / Simran / Jia / PKG) and at the same time take challenges from bad women. However, the theme of any of the serials is if you want to be good, you need to be DUMB and always get hit by Bad. 90% of the serial, bad wins over good and the last episode good wins over bad and it really doesn't matter to bad at all. Kareena Kareena was the ONLY serial where the lead female character is SMART / GOOD / and knows to trick the opponent in a nice way.
