A 'daawat' for Prashant Narayanan
TNN | Jun 23, 2011, 12.00am ISTPrashant Narayanan, who plays Phulwa's mentor in Phulwa has been having a rather humbling experience these days. The actor, who was recently spotted in films like Bhindi Bazaar Inc., is currently in the state of Jammu and Kashmir shooting for his upcoming film.
Prashant was pleasantly surprised to see that people in Kashmir were pretty much tuned into their daily soaps and recognised him as the sympathetic dacoit from Phulwa. Says Prashant, "It was unbelievable! People would come up to me and kissed my hands for what I am doing for Phulwa. They told me how they wanted me to be her savior. I could see how much they felt for Phulwa and how much they admired me for my role." Apparently, some viewers are even planning a daawat for him. How cool is that!
