NT has lost it she was restless she wanted to meet Dev she wanted to take the case back all she could see was the property Geet would have on her 21st birth day; but it was not that easy; many woman were involved in it; even if she takes the case back other cases were there; and Arjun being her guardian will not allow her to take the case back.
NT was stuck in her own game plan to screw Dev, and she knew very well that if she tried to go past the case Arjun will make her rot in hell for ruining her father's daughter's life. She should be grateful that Geet did not tell him about what she did to her. Next morning NT faked a stomach ache but Arjun paid no attention and asked her to have breakfast quickly, no one paid any attention to her, Geet served the breakfast, it had now became her habit and DM also liked it,
A: Maan, call the advocate and tell be will be 15 mins late, this NT is taking so long
M: ok, Arjun, I'll just call him
NT: veer ji I am really feeling very down
A: good, this ways we can show that Dev hit you so hard that you are still in pain, Maan can be not fake some internal stomach injury, she looks quite convincing
What NT did not know was that by now Arjun had known all her tantrums.
After break fast they left, Geet went to get ready for her college and DM called Pari for some documentation

On listening all these abuses and threats NT was terrified, she gave up the idea of taking her charges back, the advocate recorded the conversation and was happy that he got one more tape against Dev
All the evidences witnesses the video tape and now this recording all made Dev's case more weak and NT's strong, the next date was given after 2 months and Arjun asked the judge
A: my lord, my sister is very terrified, she used to live in Canada before marriage, if you permit can we take her back
Judge: but she has to be here during the next hearing
A: yes, my lord she will be here
J: ok you can take her; it will make her feel less scared.
They returned to the KM in the evening
Arjun thanked Maan and blessed Geet for her bright future and left with NT taking DM's blessings. He also invited Geet to visit his place once she is settled.
NT was now gone to Canada till the next hearing that Arjun assured will not happen till at least 6 months; he will not let it happen; as Dowry was a non baillable offense Dev will rot in jail till the next hearing and even will have to wait for another next one; what DM planned was that Dev should at least be in Jail for a year without hearing; and that was not difficult owing to the slow crawling speed and pending cases.
As the time passed things became more regular, there was no traces of NT and Dev in the house, no body talked about them, DM took Geet for her regular check ups and made sure Maan accompanied them, as Maan was very happy with the prospect of a child in the house he always went with them
On the 3rd month visit to the doctor
DM: Maan take the car to the ultra sonographers
M: why? Is everything ok, Geet why sonography?
DM: Maan, its normal after the end of first trimester doctor calls for
a sonography to ensure everything is fine
M: is it? (He looked at Geet)
G nodded and smiled: um
When they reached the sonographers they were given a number and the receptionist called Maan
R: sir, your number will come after 40 mins, until then ask your wife to drink a lot of water her bag should be full
M nodded and went to get mineral water bottle for her: hey Geet drink this
G: why? I am not feeling thirsty
M: that lady said that your bag should be full and you have 40 mins so drink this 2 lit come on have it
DM smiled and urged Geet to follow what Maan said

After 30 mins DM said she was feeling very hot

Later Geet's name was called and Maan went in with her

Maan was like a little uncomfortable but at the same time he wanted to see the baby's development so he sat
The doc applied a gel on her lower abdomen and explained the procedure, as he moved the instrument he said: look here is your baby and he explained the development of the fetus, ok Mr. Khurana do you want to know the sex of the child, though it is illegal but you to seem you don't mind having any sex,
G interrupted: can I know sir
M: what's the use I know it is a girl
G: how can you say this, it can be a boy
M: no I am sure it's a girl
G: no, sir it is a boy? Isn't it?
M: no it's a girl? Isn't it doc
Just then DM entered panicking what was taking so long
Doc: yes Madam
M & G: DM you decide
DM: what happened?
The doctor smiled: nothing Madam your Beta and Bahu are fighting about is it a he or she (DM giggled) I think I should t\let them fight for the next 6 months it's nice to see them like this, you are lucky madam
Both turned pink
It was here 16th week when she came searching DM after the college

G: when will she come?
N: she will be late; the activities are followed by dinner
G (disappointed): ok
N: MK sir, called for tea, shall I tell him you will join
G: yes I'll be there in 10 mins
Later Geet joined Maan for tea

G (she came close to him): Maan, he kicked

She turned and as she was leaving: ouch

And both laughed
