Aarti back story remind me of karna of mahabharat . Same as Ajay devgan played in rajneeti . I believe CV's want to take some features from the novel itself.
However it is strange ,as this make Alka as arjun & probably Chander as 'krishna' ,the guide who helps alka to fight for dharma or good ,even if it means fighting with your dearest kin ( Brother & Father )
But this may be indication that Aarti may joint hands with abhisekh in future (analogy to original mahabharat karna ,duroydhna were in one side against arjun ,even though karna knew about his parentage ).Similar to karna having great devotion for krishna ,aarti has soft corner & respect for chander ,but as karna had to fight against krishna for his duties ,aarti may ave to fight chander for her political carrer .
However even if all this is true ,then the idea to dump chander is very bad ,as without her guide ,who is going to help alka in deciding what is wrong & what is right .
Maybe after chander is killed (ok no offense ,i m against it as always ,but going as per orginal storyline ) ,the CV's will nake regular apperance of chander in form of ghost,apparition or inner conscience of Alka ,which will enable her to take decision even after chander is gone.
