This show is not inspired from Twilight but from Vampire Diaries, so no point in comparing the characters to Edward, Bella and Jacob.

Anyway if you follow the twilight series they began as a story between a girl and a vampire but of course as well all know Jacob is as important as Edward even though he made a late entry😛 Saying Jay or Jacob are not important is the same as saying your first child is the only important one as she/he came first. So what happens to your second or third child then?😆

as far as Twilight is concerned, i disagree with u...Twilight is out n out Edward-Bella's love story...Jacob was important part but being a Jacob fan i hate it what she did to Jacob's character in the Breaking Dawn ...his imprint on Nesse didnt make any sense bcoz they never continued with their story...when all Jake fans wanted to see Jake-Nesse love story to grow, u know what the writer said?...she said " her story is only about Edward and Bella...and not about Jacob...so she wont write any further"
