Always been curious to know why actors such as Ranbir, Akshay and many others in Bollywood who have been involved with women are somehow always looked down with disgust, in the West the situation is different the current lot and even the actors of old like Gary Cooper, Richard Burton Brando were always respected most of the time for doing the same thing (not that I agree with it) but is it because of a cultural difference? conservative thinking of the masses? or any other reason

I don't look down upon anyone for dating many people. I will joke about it sure, but I don't have any problems with it whether DP or Ranbir. It would be hypocritical of me considering the fact that I believe in dating multiple people before committing to serial "monogamy" myself.

A reel hero is considered to be a real hero for the aam junta. Hence the high expectations and the least of respect when heroes show human 'weaknesses'.
