Better than the original?

Sargam and Emil from Adnan ke Anokhe put every activity on standstill as the duo performed "Arziyaan" from the critically acclaimed movie Delhi 6. The original song was sung by Kailash Kher and Javed Ali who are co-judges in Zee TV's Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs along with Adnan Sami.

This was their first performance in the show. There is a heart-warming sense of camaraderie between the mentors as even before the kids began to sing, they said, "This song is a tribute to Cool Gurus, Javed and Kailash."

Alka Yagnik, the Mahaguru on the show, could not believe her ears that little kids aged between 8-14 can sing so well. Kailash Kher who is every chirpy and always ready with an arsenal of comments spoke very little as he was deeply moved.

Javed Ali said, "Sargam, had I listened to you earlier I would have definitely copied your style. You were phenomenal in certain parts of the song and it is difficult for trained singers like us to do what you did with lan and ease."

It needs a heart of gold to acknowledge in front of a global audience that a kid's rendition of your own song was better than the original.
