My vote goes to entry # 1...usually I like happy ending stories. But this OS is quite emotional and unexpected. It has raised a burning issue of the present society.

As organizer I remain the only one unable to vote SO instead I wish to comment on aspects I liked of each of the pieces. Not that I flatter myself, anyone cares, I wish to and NOT out of a sense of duty but in search of beauty.

On a mission.

I was really impressed how the writer incorporated so seamlessly forum members into their piece. Just an inspired piece of writing. However even more so impressive was their premise! Just inspired! ⭐️ I read the piece many times over, taking in all that detailing which is just exceptionally done! For instance those imaginative place names like ERD and castle of knowledge.

I loved how the writer maintained the characterizations sharply, with witty lines that mesh well with them. "It means the ERD need information, not members" 😆 Excellent! Although I do not know the forum members well enough to assess their likeness to the forms found here, their characterizations even if caricatures were just delightful! I loved it! "i said Dia wont shoot you" 😆😆😆

"Surrender yourself, keep your hands where i can see them" The words drained me of all motive, I loved the manner the writer bluntly cuts off Mayank's bold and brash soliloquy, with concisely penned words that move the action along whilst adding to the characterization! Skillful!

"OMFG i caught Arjun!!" 😆 Yep! I could see her saying that and her expression. Nicely done! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

without them, even Gunjan seemed a threat. Subtle and cleverly done! I loved the effortless homour throughout this excellent piece! ⭐️

Again, the writer has excellently captured relationships and jodis,
"Okay so we merge, but i get to shoot Gunjan" Samrat smirked.
"Yep" Nupur agreed. "and mayank is mine"

Then to showcase their ability further, the writer adds that inspired part of Gunjan/Sanaya, "She can be Sanaya to save her own neck! she has done that before" Brilliant! 👏

"You dont know me?" She asked quite upset 😆😆😆This was just hilarious! Seriously funny stuff!

The end was just perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️They all get to shoot each other because at the end of the day, ONLY family members are allowed to taunt, tease and occasionally pull a paintball trigger BECAUSE there is always love in there somewhere. If any outsiders tried the same it would not be tolerated. Families laugh with each other never at. We just enjoy our own funny ways that outsiders would never understand. It is about history, it is about bonds and it is about forgiving and forgetting for the sake of all the good days and for all that love. 😳

Just outstanding. I have saved copies of three entries in this contest AND this was one of them. Just inspired and a delight to read! With much love Sabah.

Entry number three.

The opening scene is bold, pulling us right into the middle of the action but then the writer weaves in that flashback so that we can take a breath.

Then that twist in the Flashback, as Mayank remains alive but Diya dies. I am back to holding my breath. Which I could release until that last moment of relief! Well written!
