When contacted, Sushant refused to speculate on why Manav had gone missing. "It's a creative call taken by the makers," was all he would say. But there are questions that remain unanswered: for how long will Manav remain out of the show? Will he come back with a handicap or memory loss? Sushant stonewalled all this with: "I really don't know what the makers are planning to do with the character. All I know is I have got a much-needed break after more than two years of doing the show!"
