Akash hit the nail on the head when he said that Khushi has dented Arnav's dimaag. It is quite evident that Arnav enjoys locking horns with Khushi. Totally evident in the way he said 'Kya hua?' when he told her how much the damages were to his car. He could tell that she was taken aback.
Now, this is my thought about how this nafrat paas aane na de mohabbat door jaane na de thing comes about. I think with all these coincidental encounters ArHi have, including the one in the bedroom, they both start to fall for each other - or at least soften towards each other - obviously the other doesn't know about it. And then, Khushi's past connection to Arnav is going to blow up in his face...but he is not going to be able to go back to being as hard hearted as he was before, because he has already started falling for her. For me, in the promo where Arnav says kash, i could love you - I think he means love you the way I really want to and should, but can't because I need to hate you.
