Neil's best: Kesar's pre-wedding ceremonies

KESAR'S HALDI RASM

Kesar forced Gulaal to start the ritual, very sweetly adjusted his costume and noticed her uneasiness as she put the Haldi on his legs first. He put up a brief acknowledging smile as he kept on looking for her reaction but Gulaal was so lost in what he had disclosed to her that she was finding it hard to even fake a smile. She was in a way dazed as she missed changing her hand position to apply Haldi on his face. How sad, what has he reduced her to. Gulaal was totally shocked when he squeezed her hand stating her miserliness and angrily forced her hand on his face to apply Haldi generously since he believed that the amount of Haldi applied to him will be directly proportional to his post marriage happiness.

When his mother performed the ritual, he had the most sincere smile on him. Loved the way Jamna Kaki tapped his face and he had this mischievous smile. With Sudha, he was naughty in asking her how he would address her henceforth. Everyone seems to be enjoying this mischievous Kesar that even Sudha pulls his ears. Kesar was the centre of attraction being the single guy in between all those women. But he seemed to be quite at ease with all.

When Talli enters, all that Kesar wants to see is what would be Gulaal's reaction seeing her dear little Talli. Kesar makes it a point to remind Gulaal about the "love" that Talli is never going to get from him. Gulaal is shivering almost by his words, poor girl dropped the Haldi. Kesar had to save the situation for her. Love the scene between Kesar and his mom when she drives him away asking him not to talk such romantic stuff in front of elders.

He forced Gulaal to dance with him. How conveniently without giving room for doubt e was multitasking: he was dancing, smiling to others and making his stand clear to Gulaal, taunting her of her promise, and warned her to get ready to watch out for her sweet Talli's "colorful destruction". When she behaved like how she will scare a schoolkid saying she will complain to family, he was so cool to remind her that she can't do that as she had made them consent for the wedding. Could he be any meaner in his words to her? But Gulaal needed this.

GULAAL AND PAANBA

Had to mention here because I loved the way Paanba asked her that did she not have the right to decide for her son. Though a late realization, it was still important because I am really looking forward to how Paanba would react when she learns about Gulaal's decision to hide Vasant's murder and her single handed decision to shield Dushyant in the pretext of keeping the family together.

Kesar mocked at her final attempt failing. "Ab tu kya karegi Gulaal??". Her "Kuch nahi karoongi Kesar" was indeed sad when she promised she would never ever take any decision for others henceforth. Her begging, her tears, her trumpcard to swear in the name of Vasant made him soften down immediately. He was worried seeing her tears. When Gulaal cried saying don't hurt Talli for her mistakes, Kesar had sobered down. The last thing that shook him was her confession that she would go away from his life forever for all the miseries that she has caused. Kesar's plan backfired I think, because all he wanted was for her to realize her mistake but that led her to say she would leave forever from his life. He has not even had the courage to ask Gulaal about the doubts in his mind for these many years due to fear of losing her. And now that was happening in front of his eyes. I think this possibility has pushed him to do what he did as shown in the precap.
