Girly Sonam Kapoor loves herself

Sonam Kapoor's films may not be working but she is still everywhere either endorsing or launching something. We caught up with the clothes-horse at a recent accessory launch and here is what she had to say…

Love being a woman
I don't think there is anything better in this life other than being a woman. We create life and that's what I find amazing. Women are practical and emotional. I am emotional when my films release, there were tears in my eyes when Slumdog Millionaire won Oscar after Oscar. Today, woman are ruling everywhere, they are on top and competing with men.

Fashion
When it comes to fashion, women have more options whether it's clothes or accessories. We can wear sarees, skirts, pants, tops, jeans, and so many other pieces whereas men can only wear jeans, tees, shirts, and pants. They have limited variety. So I am proud of being a woman. Even in accessories, we have a wide range of accessories whereas for men the range is limited. Women have more make-up options too.

My favourites
I love myself (laughs). I love make up, getting dressed because dressing up makes me happy. I like wearing beautiful clothes because they possess creative value. I love shopping for clothes, jewellery, make-up, and books as it all makes me happy.

Love to be pampered
While I am an independent woman, I can also happily state that I love being pampered. We also like to pamper our men the way they pamper us or even better. We create a balance of everything.
