This is not a still from any of Preity Zinta's upcoming movies. This in fact is an exclusive picture of Preity Zinta's first ramp walk at the Lakme Fashion Week. Preity was roped in by Manish Malhotra to carry his creation on the ramp and add a special flavor to the show.
Preity Zinta had modeled for few ads before she began her career as an actress but walking on a fashion ramp was something she had never tried before. Manish however, persuaded the bubbly actress, who took the show by storm. Preity was seen wearing a beautiful sexy corset matching with an equally stunning beige lehenga. Manish definitely scored there.
Also, seen in the background are Ness Wadia, Queenie Dhody, Karisma Kapur and Tusshar Kapoor cheering Preity while she does her walk.
Lakme Fashion Week is on and the designers are trying their best to stand out of the clutter, by whichever means possible. One tactic the designers are using is persuading their Bollywood friends to walk on ramp. Designer Manish Malhotra has got Preity Zinta to walk on the ramp with his outfit on day one, which is today. This is the first time that Preity will be carrying a designer's creation on ramp. However Manish clarifies that Preity won't be wearing anything off-track from the rest of the models and that her clothes will be a part of the line that he is displaying. Besides Manish, designers like Surily Goel will also be having Bollywood glamdoll Malaika Arora Khan walking with her creation. But who has made the biggest bet is Sabyasachi Mukherjee who is supposed to have Liz Hurley cheering in the front row. Also, stars like Rani Mukherjee, Aamir Khan and Anupam Kher are expected to be present at the event.
