Is this next KS?

This is my first post in the forum.

I was very curious by this so-called matured love-story. But after reading the updates of last one week something that first came to mind was: this concept of falling in love after marriage is not new. Was Kasam Se not based on this concept?

Also the way characters are portrayed so far it seems like a middle-class girl getting married in a high-profile rich family. Well, of course there is difference in comparison to KS. The difference is that this time the girl is not a young girl but a matured woman in early 30's. Also the guy is not completely aloof to the feeling of having a life partner but his world rolls around his family, who damn-care about him.

But somehow I cannot just ignore similarities between KS and BALH. As per the story progressing, I can see that protagonists will be getting married, but not on happy note. Eventually they will fall in love. Wasn't this the case with Jai Walia and Bani?

Also, if the story had portrayed characters with different kind of family problems it would have been something refreshing. The only refreshing thing is seeing to seasoned actors coming together.

I am sorry for pre-conception of opinion about the show, but may be because of Ekta mai' presentation I am seeing new KS in making.

Would be glad to know your take on this.

Ekta does recycle her own stuff, n we watch it lol but i dont feel ks n balh is same.. i loved jai walia but i do not c similarities between jai n ram...

Welcome to BALH forum. I didn't know u r watching this show.
I can not compare BALH and KS coz I didn't really watch much of KS, just a few episodes here and there but Ekta does copy her stuff from her other shows.
Anything is better than LCL. BALH is rocking for me at the moment. 🤣

Well it does look similar to KS to an extent. Ram and priya will surely loathe each other and will get hitched for the sake of their siblings which was not the case with jai and bani. They will hate each other, eventually gain respect for each other and will finally fall in love with each other. But doesnt it happen in every other show. The relationship between the protagonists always start off with fights and arguements. Friendship comes later and love toh take ages. I am loving BALH and i am fascinated by the choice of actors i.e ram and sakshi.

I loved KS, so I wouldn't mind! 😳

Hey Nels, you're bang on, this is like KS or maybe its the new KS2 with a more mature Bani/Priya
and a way more over weight Jai/Ram.
Got to hand it to Ekta though, she is doing her part when it comes to recycling the old and
making it into something new.
Oh well, just going with the flow, not getting myself hooked or caught up in another tv serial
like I did with KS.

The show being new , Ekta can change the story line if it's like KS and come up with something totally new. Viewers should be left wondering as to what comes next. hire good writers and the show can reach great heights.
