no in my opinion scolding n hating will make jagya live peacefully in future but on hearing the words of anandi he will live only with guilt bec his heart knows the truth that he loved anandi n he cheated her for gauri

forgiving is the BIG PUNISHMENT to jagya

gauri deserves jagya n vice versa
